As a kid (I was 10 when this came out), I couldn't convince my parents to let me see this in theaters. So naturally I REALLY wanted to see it. When it hit TV a few years later, I found it not quite what I'd built up in my mind. Despite that, I've managed to watch it several times since & it seems to get better every time. Andrew McCarthy in the 80s is pretty much perfect. Perfectly weird & perfectly awkward. So if you have him run around puppeteering a dead body for 90min while hiding from the mob, it's bound to be fun! Another cheap classic on Blu-ray!

Two friends, who happen to work as corporate peons in the same office, are rewarded/duped by their boss with a weekend at his beachhouse. Upon arrival they find the boss dead, but they decide to prop him up and pretend that he's still among the living. At the same time a very confused hitman continues to try to kill an already dead man. If you're a child of the 80's there's no doubt that you remember the film, whether fondly or not. If you're among the former then this Blu-ray is for you. The jump to high definition works perfectly for this classic comedy, making it look almost new if you look past the 80's fashion and big hair.

It is hard to believe this is from the same man who directed "First Blood". This is worth buying over again for the comedy first and foremost, and then for the upgraded bright & vivid picture. Please PLEASE MGM can you just stop making these discs without a main menu? Not to mention the fact that there is no bookmarking feature available either, which means that you can't stop the disc and then come back to it later at the same point (LAME). The price is right for a catalog release such as this, it is currently $7.99 at Best Buy.

This is one of those movies that you probably saw on tv as a saturday matinee in the 90s. It's funny in a mild manored sort of way. The "Weekend at Bernie's" joke is probably remembered better than most of the events of the movie. Not to say you should pass on it, it is an enjoyable movie.

This is such a funny movie!!!! Definitely a classic comedy! It's about wall street moguls, except the one that is embezzling from their company dies shortly into the movie. But the movie doesn't stop there, the dead body gets into so much trouble including passionate love with his mistress. For a fun night of laughs be sure to check this one out.

Business, crime, and shenanigans take a few turns for the laughs.

The first time I watched this movie was back in the late 80's or early 90's. I love Catherine Mary Stewart and have liked most of Andrew McCarthy's movies so this was one I was going to watch. The boat scene was hilarious. I laughed so hard that I almost fell out of my chair. Great movie and a lot of fun to watch,

I love this movie so funny how people don’t notice the guy is dead to me is funny and interesting take. I herd there’s a sequel not sure how it is but I hope it gets a bluray release date asap. Totally funny film!!

Sit back relax and enjoy a very good and funny movie. I am happy to have it as part of my classic comedy collection and glad Best Buy had it available at a reasonably cheap price! I definitely rank this in the top 10 of all comedies ever made!

If you don't like this movie, you must need somebody to haul you around, prop you up and make you wave at people! Tell them, while their at it, to let you fall off the deck a couple of times until you get some sense, because this movie is a classic and needs to be appreciated as such!

I got this because it is a great movie I have watched it so many time and it always make me laugh .If you like funny movie you should get this one.

This was a gift for my dad. We often make references to this movie. Some classic scenes. I don't purchase a lot of movies but did have to purchase this one. I cannot speak of the disc quality itself since I have not watched this particular disc myself.

I am giving this 4 stars not because it is an Oscar-worthy masterpiece - it's not. Not because it is the most clever and witty film ever - it's not. This movie gets better with time. Or maybe it just stays the same. I don't know. It is a FUN, silly and whacked out 80s movie. I love it.

This silly 80's comedy is a fun time and it's never looked or sounded better than on this Bluray disc. It had been a while since I last saw it in 4:3 aspect ratio on cable and this Bluray widescreen presentation blew me away! Here! TAKE MY MONEY!

How can you not love this old flick. Anytime you need a great comedy that is a little off the norm this is the perfect one. It's really great to see how some movies really hold up over time. Also going back to see older movies on blu-ray is so much more enjoyable.

Love this movie, it’s a classic. I wish I could find the second one because it’s just as great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves 80s classics.

This movie is so good! It has a bit of a morbid slap-stick style that keeps you coming back for more. I previously owned it on DVD, but I love it so much I had to own it on blu-ray. A definite must for your movie library!

This movie is great! I could watch this movie over and over again and still laugh. I watched it when I was growing up and I had to get it when I saw it on Blu ray. It is a good movie that will make you laugh over and over again.

From the director of First Blood comes one of the most memorable comedies of the late 80's. Everything about this film takes you back to that time, and remains fun and funny. What a wonderful little movie, and one that continues be a comedy favorite of mine.
