Not a great movie, but kind of fun to watch again if you haven't seen it since the 80s. I like how Andrew McCarthy plays a bit of a jerk instead of the whimpy nice guy he typically plays.

I watched this 30 years ago, when I was a teen and I thought is was a little funny then, but not as funny now. My son who is 12, liked it.

Not in good taste, but worth a few laughs. Not clever enough to compare with black comedies like Heathers or Arsenic and Old Lace.

Just keep checking the movie section, you don't need this one in your collection

Silly classic movie crazy plot with 80's comedy humor

I saw this movie dozens of times when I was a kid and it was hilarious. You never see this movie on cable so I purchased the DVD and it is even funnier as an adult. Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman are perfect actors for the main characters they work well together and are very funny. They are to be murdered but when the boss invites them to his beach house they find him dead and trick everyone they come into contact to believing he is still alive. This movie is a riot. Buy it when it goes on sell because 10 bucks for a DVD that you may watch once a year is a little high.

well what can i say about weekend at bernie's besides it is funny movie from start to finish i first saw this back in the day at the movie theaters and i love it i have seen this movie 100's of times and own it on vhs and dvd and now on blu-ray it is funny comedy so if you want to watch a goofy comedy than check it out but the follow up to this movie was just ok no where near as funny as the first one but just ok so if you want to watch a goofy comedy than watch weekend at bernie's

Im going to be honest the reason i bought it was because of the tv show and while the tv show made this movie look "legendary" is not that bad. I mean is not as funny or has a great story however it still has some funny moments here and there so if you watch the movie with an open mind ypu will still enjoy it.

I really love this movie when I first saw this as a kid. So, when I heard that Fox was releasing some of their catalog titles and this movie was one them, I was excited to finally be able to upgrade my dvd copy to a BD copy. The PQ/AQ are very good and is like watching this for the time.

This was the first time I have seen Weekend at Bernie's in blue ray format in a store. I couldn't pass it up. This is a classic 80s comedy that's even better with the improved video quality. If you haven't seen it this is a good way to check it out.

Contrary to the popular critical opinion of the film, I found 'Weekend At Bernie's' to be very funny, and well worth a watch. I recommend this one! Widescreen and full-screen viewing options.

This movie is so funny! My boyfriend loves this movie and he was so happy when I got it on DVD. This is a classic 1980's comedy and would be worth buying at such a good price!

What a goofy movie, but it's fun to see what they do with the premise of lugging a dead body around all day! I enjoyed it.

Weekend AT Bernie's is the perfect movie if you need a pick me up. One that requires no thinking and just makes you laugh.
