Welcome to The N-H-K begins much like most slice of life anime that center on a young anti-social perverted 'neet!' protagonist. The lewd fantasies that drown his day to day and social paranoia fever dreams are things that initially feel familiar and played up for laughs. As the story goes along, however, it's cast of quirky and flawed characters reveal a grounded sense of being that is both heartbreaking to watch unfold yet also, hopeful. The world around them is much too busy to waste time pondering who the 'neet' hiding in his apartment is and whether his reclusiveness derives from real mental illness or just millennial failure-to-launch stigma. I can't recommend this anime more, even for people who have just a minor interest in animation. It will definitely stick with you

I thought Welcome To The NHK is a great anime. The animation is excellent,and done by one of my favorites Gonzo. The only thing missing is extras of any kind,but at this price being a S.A.V.E. edition I really can't complain about it.It offers a lot of fan service as well.

Hello, It is a unique anime similar to Excel Saga in regards to being different. If you're into classic animes than this might be worth your time.

Awesome Anime, came well packaged and it seems to not have any affect in the picture Quality of the Anime even though it's a save version.
