I like the conveyance of being able to just say a word to cut on a light.

This product was easy to install and setup. Great bang for the buck

It wasn't too hard to set up. I synced it to the app on my phone and then with my Amazon Echo. It works most of the time, but often the Echo says, "Device Wemo cannot be found," but then it turns the light on or off as it was directed. Being able to set timers based on time and day is very nice, and that feature has worked perfectly.

Wemo has improved its products by making them easier to use.

I had this Wemo Switch connected to Apple HomeKit for my Christmas Tree. It was awesome. So awesome I bought two more, so my fancy bedroom lamps with old school filament Edison bulbs can still be controlled with HomeKit and come on when I wake up in the morning. Belkin has come a long way! Thanks for adding HomeKit support, Belkin Team!

Great price point. Good build. Clean app. I haven't really had any of the issues other people have complained about. Unfortunately, the big deal breaker on these for me is that they won't restore the previous On / Off state after a power outage, so when power is restored it just stays off (but does connect to WiFi). So if I'm running remote computers or a DVR based camera system I have to turn them back on manually after a power outage. Company reps keep making excuses as to why this was designed this way and how it's impossible to add this feature. I know other remote switches work this way by default (restore On state after power is restored). I likely won't be staying with these in the future.
