To maintain stable control over your Wemo devices through Alexa, just make sure Remote Access is enabled on the Wemo app. Your Alexa device must be connected to the same network as your Wemo units too. If the Wemo F7C063 keeps on disconnecting from your WiFi, then you may try to power cycle it, and make sure that it gets enough connection. I would set it up according to the directions but it seemed to keep wanting to update. It would flash orange often which meant it was updating but was in those mode even though it was up to date. I just need a temporary solution so it’s fine for now. I don’t expect this item to last more than a year. You’re better off with the TP-Link Kasa plug.

It took me several tries before it connected with my home network and the Amazon Echo Dot. I still haven’t figured out how to program different on/off times for each day. With a sale price and Best Buy rewards. I bought it for the price of a mechanical timer. Buy this if you have the patience and perseverance to deal with the tedious set up process
