You need to call wemo helpline and they follow a very cumbersome process to upgrade it. Cant be done over Wi-Fi. You need 2 cellphones and hotspot setup. Once setup - works beautifully. Easy with Alexa. I wish though they’d get it to work with Apple HomeKit as well.
