    I have a jailbroken iPhone and I couldn't download the app because it's for iOS 9 and above! I'm not updating my iPhone and losing jailbreak for a wifi outlet. I'll buy from another manufacturer that has a more user friendly app. Returned to Best Buy..

    CAN'T PLUG IN MY LAMP PLUG

    I was so happy about these until I got them. It won't work with my lamp plugs as they don't allow the plugs to go in all the way. So the 2 lamps I wanted to use them on I can't... what a waste. There should be a disclosure about this problem.

    Doesn’t work with multiple plugs on 2+ Wi-Fi

    Works as advertised if you have only one WI-FI. If you have two locations you want to manage w one app/device, forget it. It’s not compatible. So if you have more than one Wi-Fi for an outbuilding, second residence, or office location, you are out of luck.

    I had to returned this since it didn't sync with my phone. I wanted to be able to control the lights from a remote location when I was on vacation. When I came home late, I wanted the ability to turn on lights so I wasn't entering a dark home.

    Aggravating setup and use

    Was difficult to get it to connect. Finally got over that hump. Then, just when I needed it, for a trip out of town, I find it had disconnected. 1/2 hour later, I gave up trying to get it to reconnect. It wouldn't even clear/reset. Wound up returning it.

      The Wemo Mini shouldn't disconnect if there are no issues with the wireless network. However, we understand your decision. We could have tried to relocate the Wemo Mini close to the router for isolation.

    I bought this unit because I was told it was compatible with Google Home Hub. I got it to work on my wife's iPhone but could not make it to partner with the Hub. We contacted Google and they could not make it work either. Finally gave up. Would not buy again.

    The mini smart plug drops wifi connection often and has to be reset.. spoke to belkin they sent me a replacement and it did the same thing. I do not have this problerm with the three other smart plugs but they are not the mini

    When compared to other smart outlets that I own, these were the most complex and unfriendly to set up. I purchased them due to their low price, but in hind site should have spent the few extra bucks to get more of the ones I already have. Not recommended

    Sometimes it connects, other times not, if you reset the modem, it will probably take a long time to connect it, the wemo application does not find it in many occasions.

    Belkin Wemo new design is a miss

    I have several of the older Wemo plugs and switches. I picked up one of these new models to add another plug for my home automation. If you have a mesh router, like an Eero, and can't separate the bands or determine which access point you connect to, this thing is a nightmare. I eventually got it setup in HomeKit, but the Belkin Wemo app could never connect to update the firmware. Very disappointed and expected more from Belkin. Pass on this unless you have a simple, single router wireless solution.

    Idea is great, purchased 3 but haven’t been able to set them up. Followed directions but no luck. Tried to return but apparently discontinued and Best Buy won’t provide any store credit or returns, which is unfortunate.
