    A pain in my butt to setup. App crashed. Go with Mercury brand, cheap and works. Walmart sells!

    The concept of this product is wonderful however it is the worse to setup. Ton can’t restart the device from the app after turning it off.

    Extremely difficult to pair this...still haven't managed to do it. Luckily this item came free with another product- I can understand why!

    After downloading the app I tried to sync the device. Tried many times and finally gave up. Returned to product and purchased the iHome device.

    Supposed to be able to turn on light with phone app, but even though I have a great wi-do signal, it says I don’t and the light won’t go on.

    Bought two of,these and could neither to connect to my network. Returned those and bought an iHome version. Was connected in 5 minutes.

    Returned WeMo plugs because I couldn't get them to work with my Google wifi. Tried everything. Ended up going with another brand.

      We found no issues hooking up the Wemo Mini Switch to Google Wi-Fi as long as it is broadcasting a separate 2.4 GHz radio band.     The wemo only works when in the same room as the router. Poor range!! Great concept and would love for it to work the way it is advertised.

      Wemo devices have the same range as most other Wi-Fi devices. Therefore, you can place your Wemo Mini Smart Plug wherever you get Wi-Fi connectivity. There's a possibility that obstructions like walls, cabinets, and doors have affected the unit's performance as these factors could also reduce Wi-Fi range.

      This is an unusual behavior for the Wemo Mini Switch. It is possible that signal interference is what's causing the challenges. Our Second Level Technicians is more than willing to assist with further isolation and troubleshooting to get the device working.

    I’m returning this item ASAP. It loses the WiFi signal and will it work with Alexa. It has also burned out 2 bulbs.

    Says it’s compatible with HomeKit. Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t. App crashed 10 times while setting up.

      The Wemo Mini Switch is now tested to be compatible to work with Apple Homekit, just make sure you have a firmware version of 2.00.11143 or higher to make it work.
