Since the product was so new to come on the market I hit a few snags at first but now I love it! It connects with my Google Home (love using voice commands) and I can also operate with my smart phone when I'm away from home. Don't need a "hub" and can have multiple plugs.

Bought a total of 4 WEMO Mini plugs. Have them scheduled so they will be on when we come & go in the dark and intermittently during the evening and overnight for security purposes. They are simple to hook up, program and have worked flawlessly. Happy with purchase and recommend highly!

I purchased a Wemo Mini Smart plug during Prime Day and it was easy to set up and continues to work flawlessly. This is really convenient and I highly recommend it if you need only one. I was looking forward to adding more around the home and thus I purchase a 3-pack from Best Buy. For the life of me I could not connect the additional ones to my network. I spent hours with a Belkin representative and finally gave up. I cannot understand how the first one was so easy to set up and adding other units is a major headache. Based on reviews from others I am not the only one with this issue. This is a great product that works flawlessly (so far) the low rating is the issues in trying to use more than one.

I like the options available. The ability to create multiple schedules and make one active at a time is great. I can switch from my normal schedule to work at home schedule to vacation very quickly by deactivating one schedule and activating the one I want to make current.

This plug in switch was easy to install and connected to my Echo in just a few steps.

The setup instructions in the WeMo Android App prompted me to enter my WiFi Password so i entered the password for my AT&T # 3600HGV Wireless Modem, but the WeMo Plug would not appear in the device list (list was blank). I tried this several times, but the device list remained blank and i was about to return it to BB as defective. But the next morning i gave it one more shot but this time i entered my modem's "NETWORK KEY" numbers from the modem's sticker instead of the PASSWORD, and that did the trick on the very first try. The WeMo Mini now appears in my Device List and is working perfectly. So in the case of my AT&T modem, they should have said enter the Network Key, not the Password. This may also apply to other brands/types of wireless modems or gateways. If the Password isn't working, try the Network Key numbers instead.

Best and easiest product to make dumb devices smart. Anything from Fans to lights to crock pots. Easily enable timers for automated on and off ability. Pair it with Voice assistants in order to voice control devices. Great product, works well!

Set up was a snap. Worked as promised. My only con is that the app does not let me change the name from Wemo mini. So when I talk to Alexa I have to say wemo mini on. But it is a small annoyance. I will buy another one for my room.

Purchased this device to bridge my LED strip lights that are not wifi enabled to Alexa. It's worked as advertised. It was easy to set up and connect the two together. I can now ask Alexa to turn on and off my lights and Wemo responds every time.

So I recently got an Alexa and am trying to convert my apartment into a smart apartment. I paid around $35 for this outlet which I thought was kind of expensive. Although that’s the price of being lazy. I wanted to be able to control my fan from my bed accross the room. Anyways, I plugged it in and I was a little annoyed I couldn’t sync the outlet to my Alexa immediately. First I had to install the Wemo app and turn it on before it would allow any power to reach my fan. Once I did I was easily able to sync it to my Alexa and now I can turn my fan on and off just by saying “Alexa Turn On/Off the Fan”. Overall I’ll probably buy more of these to control the other devices in my life that aren’t smart enough to be controlled by Alexa directly.

I have two of these, and about six of the previous (larger) model. WiFi connectivity and about six of the wall switches. Reliability seems to be significantly improved, since they haven't dropped a connection since I got them. They're still not tiny. In fact, if my math was up to a volume comparison, I'd bet that they're roughly the same volume as the previous model...just a different and significantly more convenient shape because (assuming you're using a wall socket and not a power strip) you can use the other socket. Connecting these through an Amazon Echo provides voice control, which is very convenient and just plain cool. The ability to set timers and the like also adds a measure of security, making the house look occupied, and a whole world opens up with IFTTT integration.

The mini wifi smart plug is a simple way to hook up any device to a home automation system. The app makes the setup easy and the plug was working with my Google Home unit within a few minutes. Great for lights that dont have smart bulbs.

Great unit, easy setup, but expensive for just one plug

The initial setup was an absolute nightmare. I had to disable some obscure WiFi feature on my phone. The app constantly got stuck in a loading and closing loop.... And after the absolute breeze it was to setup my Google home speakers and Chromecast the horrible nightmare that is the WeMo setup is even more appealing. I've setup 4 outlets on two occasions. You'd think the second time I setup a couple outlets it'd go smoother but it didn't. There's one outlet that's always having connection issues... And I've had sporadic issues with outlets not being available. And right now as write this review WeMo is having some cloud issue so I can't control my outlets with Google home... So I'm browsing bestbuy's website to look for some alternatives to replace the main outlets I really care about. I'm also not really impressed with three lack of scenes support. I'm not sure what scenes are in Google home but I see them mentioned in the Samsung smart things... And if I could setup scenes with my WeMo outlets that define which ones are on or off that'd be pretty awesome. But mostly I'm frustrated with the outlets not working all the time. Because that makes them a burden when they're supposed to make things more convenient. And I kinda want to see if there's anything better... Because even though I'm happy when they work I'm just not really that impressed. And I'm super frustrated with them right now. Definitely won't be getting another WeMo. Even if it means I have to use multiple apps to manage my smart outlets. As long as they all work with Google home that's all that matters.

After many days of searching online I decided to go with the wemo mini. The setup was easy, and it worked great through the app. A few hours later I had to reset my router for an Xbox issue, and it went downhill from here. It took awhile for the wemo to connect back to the wifi, once it connected it worked fine. I left my house that night and tried to turn my light on while I was out, and the app couldn't access my plug. Remote access was enabled, but it just didn't work. I got home that night and set up my new echo dot then tried to pair the wemo with the echo. I spent over an hour trying to pair it and nothing worked. Nothing worked, I even went on forums to try and figure it out. Thankfully I also ordered the TP-Link mini smart plug 2-pack from Amazon and they arrived that same day. I ordered these before I decided on the wemo so I was just going to return them. When my wemo wouldn't connect I decided to just open the TP-Link plugs and give them a try. To my surprise they connected flawlessly the first time I tried so I returned the wemo the next day to bestbuy. I HIGHLY reccomend the TP-Link mini smart plugs over the wemo plug.

It's nice that these only take up one plug. Set up was easy in the WeMo app and integration with Google Home, IFTTT, etc. was seamless. I ended up buying a second because our apartment isn't wired for smart light switches!

I bought 3 of these for lamps around the house. They installed easily, hooked up to wifi, and then through my Smart Things hub and Alexa. Wemo app is easy to use and they all turn on and off just by talking to Alexa now.

I purchased WeMo and the schedule set up was a breeze.

These wireless outlet switches are so flexible for different uses. Works great with the voice control of the Amazon Echo, and has been very stable since initial setup. Easy to set up, and works perfectly!
