Easy as pie! Tried one Insignia smart plug. Wasted an entire evening and never got to work with app or Alexa. Took it back and got this one; total of 5 minutes installed, set up and working with Alexa.

Works as advertised. It initially took a long time to update the firmware , but it works beautifully now. I use it with Google home so I can use voice commands. I would definitely recommend it.

It was just like a plug and play! Once I had it set up through my phone I linked the account to my Google Home. Works great. Able to set timers even when I'm not home. Inexpensive way to start a smart home.

So simple and easy to set up. This product is used in our kitchen and synchronizes with our Sonos-based Alexa product easily. We'll now get a few more of these around the house.

The mini is perfect for controlling a lamp or appliance. Setup was super easy and it works flawlessly with my Amazon Alexa! Plus its small enough so you can still use the second outlet.

I attempted to install the older version in a wall socket that was admittedly fairly far away from my router. The older model was flaky at best and would constantly disappear from the Wemo app and be reported as offline using Alexa. I tried an inexpensive range extender with no luck. It occurred to me that perhaps the newer version would have improved specs and would be worth trying. First, I installed the old switch in an outlet closer to the router and got it to work with no problems. Then, I purchased and installed the newest version in the faraway socket. Setup and installation went off without a hitch and it has worked flawlessly since.

Works as described. It makes my life here better, because my switch going into the room works the ceiling fan. With this in the outlet, I can have my table lamp on before I get there.

I love how I can set an on/off time with a fixed schedule, or sunrise/sunset time. It also works with google assistant and Alexa to turn on and off remotely as well!

Easy to setup, connected to Alexa dot without a fuss. The mini doesn't block the other outlet like the other wemo switch can (depending on what you're plugging in)

The Wemo mini smart plug is plug and play, extremely easy to set-up & use. Its been very reliable with no issues and the app is very easy to navigate. I would highly recommend!

The Wemo Mini WiFi Smart Plug was my first foray into smart plug. Absolutely no issue with the setup. Also works nicely with my Echo. Definitely will be getting a few more!

This is a great smart plug and easy to setup. Gonna look into getting more. I love house they work with Alexa. Would be a 5 star if it worked with Siri too.

Bought two of these because I had some cash deals that were expiring. Easy to set up and they work with both Google Home and Amazon Echo. Makes life so much easier.

Very easy to setup and apply to your smart home system. Compatible with other 3rd party devices. The controlling app is very functional. it works well so far for me.

I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before purchasing this item on a whim, it was on sale and I wanted to give it a whirl. I'm a gadget gal, but not necessarily a techie and I don't have any other smart products besides my phone, wifi router, computer and tv. This couldn't have been easier to set up using the qr code. Even when I unplug and move the device, it maintains all the settings until I change them. I do not have a hub. I have used it to randomly turn on and off lights while we're away, and I use it as a visual cue to get me to bed earlier.

I bought this because it was compatible with Nest and Amazon Alexa. Its nice that it is flexible with its settings as to which products you can use it with (anything with a plug) rather than just a smart bulb. There are many configuration settings - depending which item you decide to plug into it. A timer for turning off - toaster, iron, humidifier.... or auto away from home schedule or on at sunset until a specific time for a lamp. Only thing missing is the ability to dim the bulb - which you would get with a lightbulb - but this can be used for anything.

Good gadget. Easy to set up and control from anywhere. Works with Alexa from Amazon. Can control electronics remotely and set timers. Plan to buy more.

I have the WEMO light switches and mini plugs. The light switches are awesome, I bought them to hook to exterior lights that I wanted to automatically turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. So I set it and forget it. It knows when sunrise and sunset is. The plugs I use for a couple different things. One to run a light in a dark hallway, one to plug my flat iron into. Then on those days when I leave the house and forget if I turned off my flat iron, all I have to do is open the app to know. IF I left it on, I can shut it off from almost anywhere. Love them!

I was really excited to get this because I was sick of falling asleep with my light on or having to get out of bed to turn it off every night. The initial setup was easy and scheduling the times I needed my lamp to turn on and off was straight forward. However, after setting everything up, the app began acting weird. It kept saying there was no connection to the device and that the WeMo device could not be found. Although I had scheduled on and off times, I wanted the convenience of turning my lamp on and off from my phone whenever I wanted. Since the app said the device was not connected I did not have that option. I deleted the app and re-did the entire setup process several times only to be met with the same problem. Though the scheduled time do work correctly, the WeMo turns off at random times on its own. The fact that the device is not detectable according to the app prevents me from using the WeMo remotely, which is really inconvenient. I'll keep it since at least the scheduled times work fine, but I would not recommend getting this product and will not be purchasing more of such devices from Belkin. I contacted customer support 3 days ago and have yet to receive any response from them.

So far so good. Love it! Works exactly as advertised. So happy I bought two more. Our living room, which has never had physical light switches can easily be turned on and off with voice commands (something my 5 year-old loves to help with). Connect it with IFTTT and you have an even more robust tool. I love the auto off feature. This helps us to ensure we never leave the lights on if we leave the house. I also love fast the lights turn on and off from the time you push the switch "in app" or when using an Echo. It's scary fast.
