This is my one of many WEMO devices. I have plugs, wall switches, and motion detectors. Easy to install, easy to operate, and a very well laid out application. I love all the program settings that you can use. I am using these devices to control my home, and my vacation home. Flawless in application!

I have to walk upstairs to reset my WiFi and I bought this to remedy that. Although I found out that it can only connect through WiFi and that creates a problem. I tried to connect it with the hotspot on my phone and that’s not even an option. Works great otherwise.

My router is dual band, meaning, it does 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. Wemo appears to like just the 2.4 ghz. After struggling an hour with it yesterday and not getting it to connect, I went into my office today (where the router is) to have it as close as possible. Then, I changed the settings (via computer) to rename the 5ghz network name -just- to make sure I didn't pick the wrong one. I don't think that honestly mattered, as the new name didn't show on the device anyway. Still, struggled for another hour between resetting and unplugging and what have you. Finally, turned off my password settings to the 2.4 network to make it open. Wemo connects. (By this point, at least I know it can.) It doesn't seem to have an update for firmware, which I thought it might and putting it on the open network might get it to update to resolve it. Noooope. Anyway, finally gave up and went into the router settings. Made a guest network of a totally different name on a 2.4ghz setting JUST for the wemo products and, lo and behold, it sees it and connects to it. So, just for the sheer struggle of setup with this product, 3 stars. I haven't even gotten to play with it at this point, mind you. Additionally, after connecting it to the fabricated guest network I made up, it now, all of a sudden, has a firmware update that it didn't offer before. @.@ I'm half tempted to try and take it off the guest network and put it back on the main one to see if it works now but, to be honest, I still have another one to set up and I'm not really interested in doing so at this time. I'm leaning with "yes, I'd recommend it" but only after either helping them set it up or warning them of the setup issues. I would definitely NOT recommend for a person who's not tech savy, such as my mom, because she'd have thrown it out the window by now. Granted, I will say I think this is mostly given my router is so new or advanced or what have you but you'd think they'd have an easier setup by now.

I was looking for an outlet timer and ran across this little wifi plug, at a very reasonable price. Pretty much plug it in, download the app, and you're good to go. I haven't used the timer or random away from home function, but is next on my list. I also like the minimalist appearance of the app.

Purchased the Wemo plug to control two lamps beside each end of our couch. Plugged the Wemo into socket....plugged a power strip into the Wemo plug...and each lamp into the power strip. Now control lamps on/off through the Wemo app and/or by voice through Amazon Alexa. Simple to do the setup.

I was interested in this item so I finally decided to try it, it works just as designed. I see the power status while away from home in the WeMe app. I have my fan and lamps plugged in to them and it's such a convenience. I've bought three, I can't wait to see what else I'll use it with!

We got the Wemo Mini as an add on when we ordered the Amazon Echo. We weren't sure when we first ordered it but decided to take advantage of the special offer. Now that we have it we are so glad we did! It's a handy gadget to have especially when you're upgrading your home to a smart home.

I purchased the Wemo to replace another smart plug that was unreliable. Setting up the plug took less than 5 minutes including incorporating it into my Google Home environment. So far, it's been very reliable. I'm considering adding additional Wemo devices for switches, etc.

The WEMO mini smart plug is a great product. Along with the WEMO software it does exactly what it says it will. I never have to come home to a dark house now and can turn on the light by just telling my Google Home to turn on the WEMO. I can't wait to set up the WEMO insight I also got.

The plug works as represented. Installation was easy and straight forward; howver, progtamming multiple devices was not intuitive and directions were a little lacking. Someone with basic skills can, I think, accomplish it, but otherwise it might be a litle challenging.

I had a small issue with it not accepting my 24character wifi password. after updating it on a network with a shorter password, it worked fine. I specifically bought it for Alexa integration, and setting that up was easier than expected. I'm very pleased with it.

Very easy to setup via app. Controlling a living room light via a timer (setup via app), also using Alexa via Echo Dot. Device only covers the outlet its plugged into with covering second outlet. With its continuous Wifi connections, the app will download and update the plug as needed.

This plug could not be easier to set up. I love that it is inexpensive and versatile. I have it controlling a lamp and with Alexa I can turn light on and off very easily. It is not limited to just lights but others devices you want to turn on and off with automation. Great little plug!

This is my first WEMO switch and have it setup with my Google home. It works great and also, the setup was very simple and easy. With GH's recent update, I am able to hook it up directly with my device without having to use IFTTT, which a plus. Satisfied with this product so far.

I hooked up my night lamps with these switches and added to google home. It took me 10 min to do everything and works flawlessly. And now I connected it with Nest thermostat also. I can control the light by speaking to google home.great buy. I will add more switches like this now.

Great product with great futures: random operation during the night, connections to Nest, Alexa, and easy to operate. The only challenge was the setup: the app kept on kicking me out until I’ve got it finally to work. No regrets, I’d buy it again.

I have a 3D printer which is monitored with a webcam. Once the print has a completed print. I use a WeMo mini plug to turn it off. I also have a lamp that I turn off while in bed. I have a widget on my Android home screen. I also use Google assistant on the google Pixel XL.

I have only been using the plug for about a week now, but it is working great so far. The setup process went smoothly with my android phone, and setup was also easy with an Amazon Echo Dot. Being able to use the plug with Alexa to turn on/off a device is a great convenience.

The WEMO smart plug is easy to set up and works fine. Still trying to figure out how to set up multiple time frames for on and off function and how to use with i-Home if that is possible. Otherwise, I will be using multiple apps to control my smart devices.

I bought 2 for the lamps in my bedroom and living room. And I am loving it! Everyone that comes to visit has a fun time playing with my Echo dot and Wemo switches they were so easy to set up and start using. I'm probably going to buy more soon. I'm getting really spoiled!!
