Belkin - Mini WiFi Smart Plug - White Setup was easy, and I am using this plug for Holiday Lights. Works the same as the wemo insight switch but the smaller size allows for both outlets to be used. This plug does not show power consumption which I am fine with since the price is reduced considerably by not having that feature.

Easy to plug in and set up (using my iPhone). Now I can turn my light on and off remotely through the app, or through Alexa (Amazon Echo), or by pushing the little button on the device. You can also set a schedule.

I bought this to turn my fan on and off via Alexa and it’s been working great 99% of the time. There are occasions where it won’t respond but it’s very rare that it will happen. I also love that I can control my plug using my Wemo Light Switch and that I can control my plug from away from home via the Wemo phone app.

These WeMo - Mini WiFi Smart plugs work great. I originally purchased one and used that with a lamp in our living room. It allows you to set up rules, which you can set scheduled times for the light to come on and go off. Or you can scheduled it to work by dusk to dawn settings. I liked the first one so much I purchased two more. I use the one with my laser printer. Which makes it nice to be able to turn the printer on and off from anywhere in the home from my iPhone. So, if I see something on my phone and want to print it out. I just turn on the printer from wherever I am at the moment in the home, select to print and then can turn the printer off too in a couple of minutes when it is finished printing. These smart plugs also have a rule that you can set it to automatically turn off the device or lamp after a set amount of time. Which comes in handy too if you are forgetful and forget to turn off the lamp, printer or whatever you have plugged into the smart plug. The smart plug also has a button right on the front of the smart plug to just turn it or or off by pushing the button. Should you maybe want to turn the device off or on before the scheduled rule time. The one downside to the plug is it can be tricky reconnecting the smart plug to your WiFi if you have to reset your WiFi. The reason being they provide you a QR code on the plug that you are to scan with your phone. Here is where the problem comes in. You are supposed to have the smart plug plugged into your outlet and turned on to have your wifi pick up its signal, but then you are supposed to scan the QR code which is up against the wall outlet. (How are you supposed to scan a code with your phone that is supposed to be plugged in and turned on when it is up against the wall? DUMB!) Though it does give you an alternate option. If you aren't able to scan the code, you can type the code number into the app to reconnect it. That has been the saving grace from this smart plug getting a 3 star rating. So, other than the one minor poor engineering of the QR code placement on the smart plug device. This smart plug is a great device and I highly recommend it!!!

I bought two of these to control lamps in my house while I am out of town. Setup was easy, controls are simple, app works perfectly to turn on or off and check the current status. Very easy to schedule. I'm sure there are more advanced options out there, but these work pefectly as a timer.

Especially for the person who already has a “smart speaker” device such as the Amazon Echo/Echo Dot or Google Home/Home Mini, a WeMo plug in makes a great addition that they might not have already known about! I know for many of my friends who were gifted or purchased an Echo or Google Home during the initial surge of smart speakers, these speakers serve as little more than just a Pandora device for them. That’s all well and good, but they can do SO MUCH MORE with accessories! WeMo plugs are easy to program and great for someone who has maybe never thought about home automation before. They’re controllable from inside or outside of the home, so they’re awesome for someone who wants to be able to turn on a light so that they don’t arrive home to a dark house or even just to start up a coffee maker with an Alexa command. There’s a ton you can do with these little things, regardless of whether or not the receipient already has a smart speaker. If they do, though, it really rejuvenates what you’re able to do with it!

I already own 4 of these so this is my 5th. Use it with Amazon Alexa. They work great with Alexa. First time installing one I couldn’t quite get it to work. But then figured out the series of events to get it working. Once installed work excellent. Again, I have 5 of them so I know they work.

This is the second wemo mini plug I have purchased, and they both work great. I have them set up to automatically turn my living room and upstairs lights on. The one upstairs has an "away" feature which randomly turns the light on and off. Set-up is simple and easy, and the app is intuitive.

I returned a store brand smart plug after spending two hours attempting to set it up with my Echo device and purchased this one on sale for the same price. What a difference! Setup only took about two minutes, and it works exactly as expected. I am quite happy with this purchase.

Wemo smart plug allows me to turn on lights from anywhere on my smart phone. I was able to set a schedule to turns lights on and off. I was able to turn lights on in my house in Massachusetts while I was on vacation in Disneyland. Would recommend to anyone.

I purchased these originally to use with the lights for my display case so I set them on a timer. I did get them on Black Friday on sale for 15.99 for I purchased six of them. I’ve since gone back to purchase 2 more. Can’t pass up a grey deal on an awesome smart plug. I use them in the two Christmas trees I have and inside lights that I want on timers or even when I forget to turn them off I can log into the app and turn them on and off remotely. This is a must have for the tech junkie in your life.

Love this thing. Simple and easy to set up with your smart phone. I'm able to use the WEMO app to turn on and off whatever device I have plugged into it. I mainly bought it to work with my Google Home. Works flawlessly with it. Won't be the last one I purchase.

Does what it advertises. Some people have complained about losing its connection, but I have not seen that as of yet. I love every how it integrates with the whole home automation program. Works very nicely with Google home. Pretty simple to set up.

Fifth wemo product bought 2 older switches, two of the newer smaller form factor, and one light switch. I love that it pairs with Alexa. No need to fumble with the light switch and lamp switches in the bedroom. And the wemo app allows me to remotely turn off and on all lights literally around the world. Add timer capability to the mix and the smart home revolution has begun in my house. Only caveat is the first set up of any plug or switch can be tricky ymmv. But once one is set up, every new device is easily added to the mix.

We've got several of these throughout our home. They may have some connection problems when they need firmware updates, but these have largely been extremely reliable for us. I would recommend utilizing whole house internet when converting towards Smart Home applications, as they strain on single routers can be noticed from time to time. Sometimes our Wemo plugs respond a bit slower to our commands due to Wi-Fi clogging, but this is still a great product, and highly recommended.

Easy to setup. I already have multiple Wemo plugs and switches. They work perfectly with Alexa and do not require a additional base like some. Overall great. I have wemo dimmer switches coming shortly and can’t wait to get those installed.

We started our with the insignia Wi-Fi plug. It was a piece of junk, broke in the first month and wouldn't connect to any Wi-Fi not even geek squad could get it to work. Bought this one to try so far it is better and was easier to set up

It's my first shot at home automation, and I am pretty impressed. It was easy to set up, works with Google Home, IFTTT and easy to set up. I didn't experience the problems with the app that other users are reporting.

Wemo - Mini WiFi Smart Plug - White These are great, the app functions great, tends to get a little slow when not connected to wifi, overall definitely worth it. The ability to be able to set schedules is great and works perfect.
