I guess 6th time the charm. I've setup 2 iHome plugs a couple of Alexa's and a wifi camera. This has been the worst to setup by far. I just wouldn't identify my wifi. Waited a day. Didn't do anything different and there it was. Finally.

The smartplug is easy to set-up and works perfectly.

I have 3 WeMo smart plugs and an Amazon Echo. The WeMos are great when they connect. The problem is, they routinely disconnect or are unresponsive on the network. I can fire up the WeMo app and it’ll show at least one, many times all three, of the plugs greyed out and unresponsive. At least once a week I have to unplug and replug one of them to get it to connect properly. This is an issue with Alexa because it always takes 2 voice commands to connect due to the slow response from the plugs. On the rare occasion they work correctly, they’re great. The problem is that is too infrequent.

I like the WEMO - the idea, the execution, the packaging. However it's a little quirky to set up, and is in need of a firmware update to let the program features work as designed. There are ways around the issues, but that should not have to be the case. Alot of potential though.

Installation: installation instructions were very clear, but firmware update took a long time - even though the installation says successful, but the running symbol keeps turning. Wemo mini smartplug scheduling (you guys call rules) user interface was kind of confusing.

I was looking for a smart switch that works with Alexa, and the Wemo Mini was the product I was looking for. The plus on this over some other switches is that it does not take up more than one outlet. So you can potentially have 2 of these next to each other on your typical 2 plug outlet.

I bought this after my analogue timer broke. It's a fully customizable outlet timer capable of customized "rules" used to dictate its behaviour. The added bonus is that it effortlessly connects to your phone via wifi, and the free "wemo" app. Works great, I plan on buying a few more.

I use this for lamp in my sunroom where the switch was not easily accessible. It works out fantastic I can use it what I have the WeMo app or my Google Home, which by the way has been amazing. Set up was okay, could've been a little bit clearer in my opinion.

Love the ability to have my lights turn on so I don't go into a dark house at night. I purchased a total of 3 plugs at different times and my only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because it was a little difficult to connect my plugs to the router separately.

I haven't had any problems with the device in my week of ownership; however I ended up having to grab IFTTT to get better functionality when it came to controlling when my lights turn on or off. Kind of wish more options were built into the WeMo app instead.

the regular switch works great i use rules and can also turn on and off with the switch app or echo the light bulbs i have nothing but trouble with sometimes they don't show up on the app or don't turn on or off they wont update and the echo dosent see them

The product is quite nice, but I feel the instructions are not clear when it comes to adding new Wemo devices to the app. I wish the product was somehow slimmer, as it looks a bit awkward since it is wide. But it works like a charm

I have 6 of these in the house now. My only real complaint is that there is no way to control them from a pc. I have a home office and sit at my mac all day, but have to reach for a tablet or phone to turn control things.
