Total Sci-fi geek here so hooking this to the echo dot And being able to say “computer lights” and they turn on Love it ,,, The set up instructions need to be a little clearer ... but no issues Highly recommend

WeMo mini is an easy to use smart plug. Easy to set up. Alexa integration works, but I needed to group wemo minis together to control as a “ scheduled event”. Believe this issue is with Alexa and not wemo. Overall a very nice product.

Only had it for a few days but I love the convenience of being able to turn lights on and off while away from home. We use to leave the lights on all day for our dog while at work but now I can turn them on just before it gets dark. Love it!

I've been using 2 of these plugs for about a year now and I wish I would've returned them after I bought them. Complete waste of money. I have them set up with my google home and it's totally hit or miss. Sometimes they'll work and sometimes they crap out on me. There are a few things that are extremely frustrating. The first of these being the firmware updates. They never work. I left the plugs for 3 days and the app just says 'downloading...' and in the meantime I can't use the app to turn on the lights, I have to physically turn them on which completely defeats the purpose of having a 'smart plug'. I had to do a soft reset to bring them back to life. Then they loose connection with the google home app which fails to recognize them. So I have to do a hard reset to factory and re set them up from scratch. The other thing is when there's a power outage (which happens about every month where I live). I just had one the other night for just a second and that also makes them lose connection with google. So I have to do a factory reset AGAIN to get them set back up. In the past year, I've had to do a factory reset on these things at least every month and I dread every time it happens. This is by far the worst electronic product I've ever purchased in my life. Steer clear of these little nightmares.

I have Eero wifi system, and I am an iPhone / HomeKit user. I bought two of these mini plugs, and it seems one behaves more nicely in the installation situation. The problem is, that when you plug it in for the first time, it creates its own wifi spot, and you have to switch your phone to that wifi temporarily. But iPhone recognizes that it is a smart device, and goes directly to HomeKit app to add it. It would be nice, if it worked. But it always fails. The only way I could make it work, is through the Wemo app. But it needs the phone to be in the temporary wifi spot, which it isn't because HomeKit app intercepted it. So I keep going back to iPhone settings app, selecting the wifi spot, canceling HomeKit app, and then quickly switching to the Wemo app. After many tries, there was a brief moment where the phone was using the wifi spot, and the HomeKit was not intercepting. That's when Wemo app recognizes the new plug, and does the installation OK. For one of the plugs, this was easier. The other one, I had to do this literally dozens of times. After this nightmarish installation experience, the plugs worked nicely with Siri and Homekit. Until there was an internet blackout. Once the internet was back on, the nice plug was good, but the not so nice one was blinking orange, and would not join the net. Unplugging did not help. So I had to reset it, and again took dozens of tries before my timing was right, or something, and the Wemo app would see it. So my experience is: there may be some plugs that are harder to install. Mostly after you get through installation, they behave nice. And iPhone/HomeKit installation experience needs some serious updating. When trying to scan the RFID code in the Home App, it never works.

The WeMo mini smart plugs are incredible. At first it was difficult to understand the set up process but I now have it wired. Group on and off capability is incredible as is the ability to use the time on and time off features.

Now that I have it all hooked up and the app connected to it and the skill setup with Alexa, it works great. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just because it took 3 tries with the app to get it setup and working.

Works great with Amazon Echo. Had one issue when our internet box needed to be replaced and I could not reconnect to wifi but found information web so I could reboot webo mini and start over. After that had no issues.

Would be nice if it could remember my network password, otherwise it works as expected. Quite expensive for what it does. I imagine as there are more on the market, a year or so, the price will come down.

I absolutely love the WeMo. I have it connected to my Echo Dot also. I've turned the light on while I'm away from home, for extra security. I e also used it for fun with all the changing lights and patterns!

This is a good product, but didn't do what it was intended for. It was a gift from my children for Christmas. We wanted to attach it to my electric blanket, but it won't work for that.

I'd love a product that could replace the entire outlet as opposed to a plug in device. The product as it is is working ok. I use it with the flic switch and reaction time is fast.

I returned another brand because it wouldn’t hook into my WiFi. Wemo did immediately and I was up and running in a matter of 2-3 minutes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND BRAND!

Excellent for programming lights while we are south. Purchased a memo light switch also but did not get an opportunity to install it. Hoping it works as well as the memo Smart Plug. Cheers

This was a straight forward setup. Very easy to do. They could be a little clearer on setting up the rules, but I was able to figure it out. I bought two Minis. Plan to get more.

I tried a couple other smart plugs with our LED under counter pick lights and the lights would not go completely off. But with WeMo the lights turn completely off and on like they should.

I like it, it was easy to setup but I thought I could be able to turn on my tv and I can't, it's basically only good for lamps.

I have the unit now since two weeks and I liked but it will be better if you connect with more than one device to control the unit. I would recommend it. Thank you.

Works well for what it is, trigger is usually near instant. Wish it integrated with homekit more. Works great with Alexa! I'd buy more if i had more uses for them.

It took three tries to get the first plug to find the router. But the app saved the router password and the second plug installed immediately. Works with Alexa!
