The Wemo - Mini WiFi Smart Plug - White is everything I wanted. It connects with all of devices. I can preset an on/off times but, the best is I can ask a device to turn on/off. That is the reason I purchased the Wemo - Mini WiFi Smart Plug. Great product easy to use. I have recommended this product.

Like other people, I had problems getting it connected to my wifi. Searching the internet and reading hours of forums, I had to make some changes. First, apparently you can only have your wireless channel to either 1, 6, or 11. Mine was on 9. Next I had to go next to the router to set it up. Even tho I get full bars when I'm about 10 feet away with a wall between, I had to go to the plug next to the router to get it connected. once the first once was connected, I had problems getting the second one connected. I had to reboot the router and manually enter the wifi information since the second wouldn't see the wifi. This was also mentioned in forums I read. Once I had both connected to the wemo app, I couldn't get it connected to my google home app. The work around was IFTTT. Downloaded the app, created a user name, connected IFTTT to wemo app and google account, then created rules in IFTTT to control the wemo's. Had them working almost a week and so far they're good.

Wemo makes life easier. Works well with Alexa. Voice activated for lamps inside and outdoor patio lighting.

We finally decided to add automation to our home using this (x4) to control lamps around the house. Using this with the wemo app (iOS) works great as long as you don't have problems with your wifi. I am using one to control our coffee maker so I can schedule it to turn on automatically at my desired time. Setup was easy...although I had to make sure it was able to detect our home wifi. (Hint: check with your phone/tablet to see how strong your wifi is where you plan to plug in the device). Just follow the instructions after installing the wemo app on your device and configure the device to recognize your home network. The down side...and does not reflect on this product...amazon Alexa/echo has a hard time understanding to turn on/off these devices if they are not named uniquely within the wemo app. Example...one device was called his light and when saying "turn off his light", Alexa/echo interprets it as "turn office light" so it fails to do the task. Wish I could get these devices synced with my Vivint...even won't mind if I have to add a hub.

Almost like plug n play. Very easy set up. Connected to Alexa and works like a charm. Well worth the price

The Wemo Mini Wi-Fi Smart Plug is very nice. It was simple to install and connect to my internet. Took just a few minutes. The Wemo app is free and no additional fees are required. You can control just about anything you plug in from it....appliances, lights, fan, anything electric. I bought this primarily to connect to the bathroom plug I use for my curling iron. That way if I ever wonder...did I unplug it...I can just pull up the app and shut it off just in case. Works great for things like that. So I wanted it more to turn things off more so than turning them on. I have other convenient items which use a nest app. This is compatible with that. But I did seem to notice occasional errors on the nest after I linked the two. I unliked and the errors disappeared so I prefer to use 2 apps without error than 1 with errors. For that reason I did not rate it 5 stars.

Perfect improvement on already great product. Easy to setup and new design takes much less space on Wall!

Very simple to set up, works 99% of the time with my Google Home (internet not stellar is likely cause of 1% failure rate). Can use voice, the wemo app, or the button to turn a normal lamp on and off, as well as scheduling and tying into IFTTT and stringify. A great value for a great product.

These smart plugs are great to making your house much more convenient! I have these for all of my lamps in the house. You can program them to turn on and off at schedules times and sync to other smart devices such as security cameras. Highly recommend.

Works great so far. Setup was easy. Occasionally drops connection to my wifi network.

We use this with Alexa to control our living room lamp. If we go to bed and forget to turn the lamp off, we can ask Alexa to do it from the comfort of our bed without moving a muscle. Sounds lazy but super convenient. Plus, if we forget to leave a light on for our dogs when we are away from home, we can easily turn on a light no matter where we might be from our phone and the Wemo app. Makes life 0.1% better and easier.

We purchased 2 of these for our Christmas Trees. They work most of the time, and they might have connection issue with our wifi, although our signal is strong all over our home. For simple control this is good and it does the job, however I would personally suggest the wemo insight if you want solid reliability and connectivity which is common for Belkin products where this fell short.

I have been using them for about a week and so far no problem.. the remote feature is pretty good because i have them set up on my crypto miners which run 24/7 ... so if theres a problem i can just restart my miners from anywhere instead of having to go back to the place physically.. i would give it 5 stars but i've only used it for a week so I don't know longevity of this product yet...

Great product. I am always skeptical to be an early adaptor to a brand new product but needed a programmable outlet and did not want one of the larger Wemo plugs that take up the entire outlet. This little plug only takes up half of a wall plug outlet. It is easy to program (much easier than the other Wemo switches that I have). Once the software was updated this plug device was connected to my router and working within less than 15 minutes after unpacking it. Programing was a quick and easy process and connecting it to IFTTT to get a notification if it is activated or deactivated. The only glitch, which is typical of Wemo products, is that updating the Wemo software causes problems with all the Wemo devices in use and they often have to be re-setup in order to get them to function. This unit also has a button on the device that will activate it manually if necessary. I will no doubt purchase several more of these to replace old mechanical timer devices.

Not disappointed in the least. I already own and use three Wemo WiFi Mini Smart Plugs but bought an additional one since it was at such a fantastic price. I used one on my Christmas tree this year to schedule the on and off time. It worked fabulously.

Easy to set up within the WEMO app using Alexa. Super fun to turn on the light by asking.

This is a snap to set up. Once set up with the Wemo app, I then set it up to work with both my Amazon Alexa and my Google Assistant. I'm now able to turn lights on/off in the house using the app or Alexa or even remotely using Google Assistant. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because this plug doesn't have the ability to dim lights, however that wasn't a feature I needed.

I've had multiple of these outlets. They're quick to set up, and easy to add to Alexa, Google Home, and HomeKit. Perfect for a household that has multiple assistants in it. Very well done. Even better when you get them on sale!

Works with Alexa, was easy to setup, and makes walking in the room at night a breeze.
