Customers consistently note the Mini WiFi Smart Plug's ease of use and compatibility with various smart home systems as significant advantages. Many appreciate its compact size and the generally positive experience with setup and performance. This is very simple to set up, but lacks a secondary device to really make it useful. It does its basic functions just fine, but if you want to really make it part of a smart house you need an Amazon echo, the Google device. I really wish this would work with homekit out of the box, but since Apple is years behind the game it is no big deal any more. I would purchase again.

Not much in the way of instructions but fairly easy to set up. Be aware that if you set up a rule using away mode then your lights will go on and off at odd times. The only way to fix it is to delete the rule and recreate it using the "Schedule" rule. Once I figured that out everything was fine. I have lots of these and bought some for Christmas presents. They don't block the 2nd outlet at all.

I did a lot of research before buying my first smart plug. After reviewing a few choices more profoundly I got the Wemo. It pairs perfectly with my voice assistant. Setting up for the first time is easy but if the power ever goes out or you have to move the plug to a new location, you will have to go through the setup process again. The app is user friendly as well.

I have used multiple smart plugs. The WEMO smart plug is the easiest to use, works seamlessly with the Amazon Echo and does not have the disconnect problems other plugs have. I had the first WEMO plug that was oval shaped, it broke after a year of limited use. This new plug is used multiple times a day and I have not had any problems. I currently have 6 of these plugs throughout my home.

Nice and easy way to control a device from anywhere in the world with some sort of internet connection. I am not very electronic savvy. I thought it might be complicated to set up and was ready to return it if i couldn't figure it out within 20 minutes. I was surprised how the directions were pretty much step by step, like a children's book. Got it up and running first time. Very simple.

Bought these Wemo smart plugs to control lights and dehumidifiers at a second home. They act like a timer and allow me to set my lights on and off automatically for security as well as toggle them to simulate someone in the house when my security camera alerts me of anyone coming at night. It also allows me to remotely alternate the duration and time the lights are on as well as adjust for seasonal changes of when sunset occurs. The problems I have experienced though is they can be problematic to connect to my WiFi and also that Wemo app only allows you to control a set of devices in one location. Wemo tech support told me I would have to have to install the app on seperate phones or tablets to control each individual location.

I bought my first WeMo a year ago. I no longer come home to an dark house. I can turn on my living room lamp using my Echo, my cell phone app or the built-in timer feature. I just purchased 2 more during Cyber weekend for $20 each to give as Christmas gifts. They are very easy to set up. If you need help, contact customer support and they will walk you though solving your problem.

Everything worked as expected -- connected quickly to its native app. And native app connected easily to Alexa. Only complaint is the form factor. Looks pretty funny on the wall -- it extends beyond the outlet, and is perpendicular to the faceplate. Would be great to find an "outlet replacement" that was wemo -- or something that fit over the whole faceplate so it looked nicer.

I bought these about a year ago and had no trouble setting them up and they worked great! At least, until about 2 weeks ago. Anytime I tried using Google Assistant to turn them on, it would say Wemo hasn't been set up. I tried resyncing the devices thinking it was on Google, but I also couldn't control it from the Wemo app on my phone. I tried a factory reset and now it won't connect to the app at all. Both of my wemo's are no useless. I have reset them at least a dozen times and cannot get them to connect. I switch brands.

Great smart plug that works with Alexa. It was very easy to set up and I love that you can set the timer to go at dusk, so I don’t have to keep changing it. It does it by itself. Also it can be pretty far away from Alexa and it still works with it. And if you don’t have Alexa the wemo app is very easy to use. I love that you can turn the plug on and off even if you are not home.

It was super easy to setup; I had no complaints. I originally bought it for my keurig to allow myself to turn it on with my google home, but my keurig required a button to be pressed to power on, so it was not useful for that. I bought the insignia version in attempt to save some money and their setup was very difficult but Belkins setup was super easy!

It is a nice, small smart plug that doesn't take up a lot of space or block another outlet. It was easy to set up and much of the time, it works well. However, it's not uncommon for it to become unresponsive, at least every other day. Either it's showing it's not connected or, according to the Home App, it's "updating". I often check the Wemo app to see if there are any firmware updates, but none ever show. It's hard to believe that firmware updates are that frequent. I've got a number of HomeKit enabled smart devices, all connected through Apple's Aiport. Right now, I'm using it for non "critical" devices, such as those that I'm not expecting to turn on when I get home, etc.

I've had these for 5 months now, after having used GE zwave smart plugs for 6 years combined with a Wink hub. This year Wink moved to a subscription that I didn't want to pay just to turn my lights on and off and they had been having their own stability issues. With recent HomeKit improvements I wanted to give HomeKit another shot. These plugs work fine with HomeKit and Alexa (didn't try Google), and it was nice not need an additional hub. They're stylish, don't waste space, and the buttons are easy to press. That's all I have good to say about these. Two big cons: 1.) They've been horribly unreliable for me. They randomly disconnect from the wifi and require manually unplugging them and plugging them back in to reconnect. And of course there's no notification when this happens. A nuisance at best when I'm home, but I've been away from home for a month now and they've been gradually going offline unless I send someone to check on them - some get stuck 'on' and others just stop responding. I don't know if this is a 2.4GHz vs 5GHz issue, but my Eero network will not let me disable or rename the 5GHz to experiment. 2.) If they lose power, they default to 'off' and this can't be changed. Wemo says it's a safety issue. Coming home to a dark house because the power flickered briefly is really annoying. My zwave switches remembered their state perfectly. I regret spending the money on these. They're too much hassle. Smart plugs should be a set-it-and-forget-it thing. I haven't noticed any improvement with the newer tiny sized plugs either.

I needed something to control the tv of my daughter with special needs. I have it programmed to turn off at 10:00. She knows this now and going to bed before it shuts off. When i hear her wake up, I grab my phone and switch it on. I plan on purchasing an Echo so we can have even more options with programming. I have enjoyed this purchase and pleased it is affordable.

This device does the job. Easy to configure and always works. I have it integrated with google assistant on my phone to work by voice. I only use this to turn on/off a reclining sectional so that my kids don't play with the buttons when i'm not around. But i can set a schedule to automatically come on at my kids bedtime and go off middle of the night. No complaints.
