I have this set up in my bathroom, to turn on my heater, so that it is nice and toasty when I get up for work. So far it works fine. Set up was a little challenging, but that was the fault of the security settings on my phone, when I was trying to connect it to the wi-fi network. After figuring out that little glitch set up was fairly easy.

I first bought this for my daughter's dorm room, but it did not work again. (not only this, many products do not work with school wifi) I decided to use at home, and it worked perfectly without any problem! Connected with my iphone 6 right away. It turns on and off as set ting timer, and also I can still control on and off from away from home. The peace of mind.

This smart plug is perfect. The size is small enough that it doesn't hog the whole outlet but works just as well as the larger WeMo. The installation to Alexa took just a few minutes, no problems with it and the plug has been working fine since.

I like this product. I have two. One upstairs connected to my fan, one downstairs connected to my lights. The connecting thru the App isn’t easy. And I had one that was deemed defective and needed to be returned. I do like that I can use it with Alexa. I can also turn lights on from work when I’m away from the house for security assurance.

I use them to run Timers and to voice activate lighting. They work flawlessly and are easy to setup. I use them to run my new LED light strips I bought on Amazon (sorry Best Buy) on timers and voice activation with Alexa. No more 200 watt lights on the microwave running all night now that I run less than 10 watts of total lighting with the Wemo and LED's.

Set up is easy and and works very well with Google Home.

We bought one of these plugs to cover for us while we were away on vacation and loved it so much, we've since added two more. The setup is pretty straightforward and is accomplished using your smartphone. There's a button on the front of the device, so you can still manually control your lights (or whatever's plugged into it) from the outlet. I've had a few hiccups where the device disconnects and can't be controlled by the app, but I honestly haven't run into this issue for several months now. The app itself is super easy to use, and scheduling on/off times was a breeze. Not sure if I can control it from a laptop/desktop yet, but I'd love to be able to. I should look into it. If we ever need more, we'll gladly expand our system with another.

Had it up and running in about 5 min. A few min after that, opened the Alexa app and got the plug added and assigned a nickname and now I have a difficult to reach light able to turn on and off with a simple voice command. Will most likely pick up a few more of these WeMo plugs over the next few months to complement my growing collection of IoT devices!

Not bulky, easy to set-up, got 2 already for the Holiday lights.

This works just fine to turn on some lights that don't have an especially accessible switch. The only problem is spotty connectivity to google home. Every now and then it seems to lose the connection, causing a delay in communication. Initially I had no connection at all, but a factory reset of the google mini fixed that issue.

I am using this to turn my Christmas lights on and off each night. Set it and forget it. You can even tell it to turn on at different times on different days. It will work with any plug in light in your home too. It will also show you how many minutes it has been on and other useful info in the app. Have fun with it! Happy Holidays to you all!!

The WeMo smart plug is a great device that allows control of a plug by voice using either Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Also, there is an intuitive WeMo app that allows for scheduling an outlet to turn on/off at certain times on certain days, in relation to sunrise/sunset, etc. I like to have the light turn on with my morning alarm, to avoid oversleeping. You can use the app to have the outlet turn off after so many hours of being on, and even control the outlet remotely when not at home, among many other features. Of course there is also a button on the front right which allows manually turning on/off the outlet.

I have the Mini and the Insight and love them both. The Insight is set up to turn on my dogs wireless fence by voice when he goes out. Turns on and off every time on Google Home. The Mini is on our living room light stand that's plugged in. When I'm in my massage chair near the light, it too high to turn off when getting a massage.

I love ability of WEMO, coupled to echo devices, to control house lighting with my voice. It may sound like technology looking for a solution, but for me, it’s not. Being used where switches don’t exist and this solution becomes a great convince, they are worth the cost. Pairs well with echo, Google hone had a problem.

I started buying WeMo switches after I had trouble with a competing brand's switches not staying online reliably. I later learned that particular brand specifically had trouble with busy networks, and with the number of smart bulbs in my home, I'm sure my network is relatively busy at any given moment. That said, despite the busy network, the WeMo plugs have never missed a beat. I'm not sure I've ever seen one go offline in HomeKit and if I have, it's always brief with a quick recovery. Plus, you can routinely get them at a price under $20--a fair price and an excellent deal~

One thing I must say, catch them on sale if you can. Good thing I waited and gotten 2 for $20. Definitely better than the retail price. It was an easy and fast set up. I use one for my LED string light that I had put up in my kitchen and I couldn't be happier. I love that you could set it to turn on a certain time and day. The sun doesn't rise until late 9-10am where I live during the winter so I love that I could set a time at 8 in the morning and just wake up to the lights already on for me so I don't need to be shouting to google to turn the light on waking my kids up or going on my phone to turn it on in the dark room.
