Steven Spielberg's vision for West Side Story is perfection. He has not lost a beat in the decades he's been making movies and this being his first outing in the musical genre is a triple grand-slam of a movie. The 4K UHD with HDR image looks outstanding and the Dolby Atmos track is incredible. The bonus features are slim, but give everything anyone could want in a feature-length documentary offering a ton of insight, and behind-the-scenes footage. If you love musicals and were a fan of this new rendition, this is a MUST-OWN!

Too bad the public did not flock to see this wonderful remake of the classic. All of the changes/changes/improvements to the original are smart and timely. They richened an already great story. All the leads are excellent. The cinematography is beautiful. The choreography is first rate. Spielberg did a masterful job.

Steven Spielberg takes on a classic musical and makes it even better. West Side Story shines under Spielberg’s direction. Not a bad performance in the movie. With Ariana Debose stealing the show as Anita. The film needs to be discovered on physical media after a lackluster performance at the box office. 7 Oscar nominations can’t be wrong

I really enjoyed this retelling of the West Side Story. Having the original in my library, it was nice to see this newer version. The musical numbers were well done, and the dancing was awesome. It was always great to see Rita Moreno in this version as well.

This movie looks good on 4K digital on Disney+, but it looks even better on 4K disc. This is a great disc, especially when it comes to the realistic appearance of the HDR and resolution. A great movie looks even greater.

A great remake, one that is actually better than the original. I always liked the original film, the musical numbers always being really great. However, this version really makes them feel organic and natural. A great cast and a great film.

While perhaps an unnecessary remake it improves upon the original in some areas. The picture quality in 4K is often stunning. The big improvement over the original is a more natural and less sound stagey appearance, and the 4K really brings that to light.

A very enjoyable musical. If you are a musical fan, you owe it to yourself to add this to your collection in the best possible format. Very well done, but what do you expect from Steven Spielberg? Highly recommended,

Stephen Spielberg is true to the Broadway play in every respect. The entire cast was perfect in their respective roles all of which is brought together with Spielberg's superb directing

I love musicals and when I found out Steven Spielberg would be directing this classic I just couldn't wait for the 4K DVD to be released. I was not disappointed . The soundtrack in Dolby ATMOS blew my mind. A must for your musical collection.

This movie is beautifully shot. Spielberg's done it again. The performance of "America" captures the Hollywood magic of classic musicals and steps it up with modern photography.

Entertaining Movie. I bought it for Movie Night with my gal. She was focused from beginning to end. I too enjoyed the movie. May even be worth another watch!

Spielberg did an amazing job at this new vision of a classic musical. The singing, acting, and dancing has set the bar high for future movie musicals.

A really great updated version. The original is classic, but the singing in this one is very good and I liked it just as much as the original

I am not a big fan of musicals. I purchased this for the wife. I enjoyed it and thought Speilberg did a great job on updating the story and bringing it to the big screen.

Surprisingly good update of the classic film. Very good performances by almost all of the actors. Weak spot is the male lead . Transfer lacks Dolby Vision- Why?

Very nice remake of the original. I loved the music and the dancing. Sad but compelling story line.
