I was presently surprised to say I really enjoyed the New Version of West Side Story. I thought Steven Spielberg did a Great job redoing the movie. It was nice to see that Rita Moreno was asked to be a part of this new version of the movie . Another part that was great the actors actually sang there songs. I enjoyed the movie and would recommend the purchase. I was happy wit my Blu-ray dvd from Best Buy and the price was right .

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS MOVIE! I also have the original vinyl from 1961 (when I first saw it!) and a DVD of that version. The same, only updated ....you can't beat the score...it's timeless and one of the best!! If you like musicals, great singing and dancing, good storyline and music that pulls you in, you will enjoy this West Side Story!

How can anyone go wrong with actual Latinos playing Latino and a trans actor playing trans? Superb singing and dancing. The first openly queer person to win an award for playing hetero is superb in itself. I love how different it was to the classic and the extras.

This is a Wonderful movie. I did see it at the IMAX theater when it first came. Saw the original back in 1961 and have it on dvd and BluRay. The new version is so much better. The music and dancing is Great. I can watch this movie over and over and still feel like I have never seen it before.

Enjoyed seeing in the theatre but at home got to really hear the music even better. Saw the 1961 version when in the theatre, but this version gave more backstory of the reason for the destruction of the neighborhood.

Beautiful remake of a classic. Ordered on-line and blu-ray was waiting when I arrived at store. Also love having digital version so can watch in rooms that don’t have blu-ray players.

Modern day adaptation of 1957 award winning musical. Young, new actors take on the characters of this story of forbidden love and rivalry between two teen street gangs. Amazing talent brings fresh take on some classics and directed by Spielberg.

West Side Story is a wonderful soft reboot of the original . . . nice update with new actors . . . Ariana Debose steals the show. Rita Moreno is great as well . . .wonderful musical.

Watching this film really reminded me of seeing musicals with my family on broadway and in local theaters, it’s so well done. Steven Spielberg always delivers and this is honestly one of his best.

Great movie from a great director. Saw this in the theater and bought the blue for the behind the scenes bonus supplements. Can't wait to dig in!

Although I was disappointed that the Blu-Ray case for this superb film did not have a slip cover, I was very pleased with the speed of delivery. The disc arrived a day before it was released to stores nationally.

I was skeptical about a re-make of this classic. This version does not replace the original; it is a terrific new version! I enjoyed it very much.

Remakes rarely match or exceed the original's level, but Steven Spielberg really hit it out of the park with his remake of West Side Story. It's excellent.

Possibly best on the big screen. Dancing a 10. Singing a bit unbelievable or comedic at times and probably wasn’t meant to be. Story and message excellent. Surprised with the ending
