Excellent secondary TV / Monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have a 2nd house (just haven't sold it after getting married) that we still visit and spend weekend at. We have this television as the primary TV at that house. Normally connected to an Antenna, then to a digital conversion box (not sure if that's required, but it works). Great television picture and good sound. We connect a computer (laptop mostly) to one of the HDMI ports, and stream Netflix and Youtube to the television. I have amplified Harmon / Kardon computer speakers that we use for better (and louder) stereo sound. The Television used to be our primary TV at our main house, till we upgraded to a 55". It's always worked great. Think of it as a 40" computer monitor, when it goes on sale (buy of the day), this can be had for a couple hundred dollars. 1920 x 1024 resolution is awesome. I've never used the Smart part of the TV, so I can't comment on it.

Best Bang for the Buck!

Its hard to beat the features offered at this price level. It however is not a fully capable smart TV. There are limited apps loaded on this TV but for most people Netflix and Vudu are the main streaming services. I would have given it 5 stars if it included Amazon.

Good Price But!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The price was good, but I purchased this model for the SmartTv feature. To my surprise, this Smart TV only allows you to access Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, VUDU and a cartoon app. It does not allow you to download apps or access Amazon. I had to purchase a Roku stick to give me the additional Apps. Overall good picture!

The only thing I would love is it allow you to install other streaming apps, the ones it have by default are just basic

Not a good choice for me

I didn't realize you can only have the four apps that are installed on the unit. Also the remote wasn't user-friendly. On a positive note, the setup seemed relatively easy. I will be returning this unit for a different television, made by a different company.
