These are my First ever in ear-monitors, i didn't know what to expect when i first purchased them and had to drive to store that's about one hour and twenty five minutes away, and that's if there isn't any traffic. ( there was BTW ) but for my first ever big purchase on earbuds i think they sound amazing. The only problem i have is that the cable they come with is like impossible to actually remove, and then there's the mic, the stock cable is for apple products and wont work with android so you have to purchase the android cable if you have an android product and want to + , - the volume.
I would recommend this to a friend

Excellent Headphones, Spuer Comfortable

I got these almost 3 weeks ago and I really like them. They are by far the most comfortable IEMs I’ve ever used and the most secure as well. Because they are made for over the ear use, instead of just hanging off of the ear, the earbud won’t come off if something pulls the cord a bit or if you move it won’t move either. I’ve taken them running and they did great (I know, not the smartest idea with $400 headphones).
A few things about the packaging: they come with tons of tips, silicone and foam, color plates to change the look of the headphones, a cleaning tool, a screw driver to change the plates, a super tough case, a braided EPIC cable without a remote/mic and the MFI cable with remote and mic for Apple products. The braided EPIC cable is better for comfort and it’s WAY less annoying because it stays in place much better than the solid round MFI cable. I use the MFI cable for the remote and mic for calls more often though and it feels nice and strong but it can tangle a bit, nothing horrible though. The braided cable that is shown in the Best Buy picture is not the same cable that is included in the box; the pictured cable has a memory wire for the ear loops (which is better), the one included in the box does not, so beware. The remote buttons on the MFI cable are easy to identify and very easy to click; they work great with my iPhone, iPad and Mac.
As far as sound goes, these headphones sound excellent. They are on the warmer side of neutral, so they are not tuned to be very analytical and flat. They are tuned to be fun and enjoyable for longer listening sessions with a non-fatiguing sound signature. This however, does not mean that there isn’t any detail. The bass is strong and powerful and it fills space very nicely, nothing overbearing or bloated. The mids are slightly forward so vocals sound very natural and warm. On the top end, there is plenty of sparkle and detail in the highs to create a defined soundstage, though they’re not the most open IEMs. Soundstage varies from track to track, so I guess they give you what the track has. For example, on songs with tons of bass, it doesn’t skimp out on it; it helps you feel the music. On orchestral tracks, they are more open and detailed, the instruments sound very natural and it really lets you appreciate the music. I listen to Top 40, Rock, Classical, Spanish and a ton of other genres and the W30s do great with all of them.
Aside from a great sound, the other enjoyable thing about the W30s is the comfort. I can actually lay my head on my pillow without it hurting. They sit flush against the ear so there is nothing sticking out that will hurt. This also helps a ton if it’s windy, as the wind has nothing to hit and create an annoying wooshing noise. Speaking of annoyances, I have not had any microphonics with either the EPIC cable or the MFI cable. With either the silicone tips of the foam tips, the fit is awesome and I am able to wear them for hours at a time at work and at home. So, needless to say, that I am really enjoying these headphones and hope to enjoy them for a long time to come.
