My 55 inch TV fits right on it and glass shelves give the whole thing a nice look. Very pleased with it, easy to put together.

My only complaint is that when the TV hangs, you can see all the cords dropping down. I wish that the post had some sort of tunnel or velcro to direct the cords down the back so that they were unseen. We made our own fix to this, but still. Other than that a wonderful device.
