Bought this stand to match the TV stand Have my vintage stereo

This stand works perfect for what I need and is great looking!!!

This came damaged and looked like it was repaired and sold as new. Disappointed but will work.

A very nice stand for my audio equipment. It is very strong and sturdy like every other Whalen product I have owned. It wasn't difficult to put together either as it only took me about an hour to assembly. It was totally worth it though when I was done. It is a very pretty stand.

I was searching for a stand to hold my stereo system, the current case broke. I really liked the on line photo but wanted to go into the store to see it in person. It was really nice, color and looked very sturdy to hold all my stereo pieces. I purchased it in the store and brought it home, assembled same day and in no time replaced my old case. it looks really nice, fits my color scheme. And worth the price I paid. Very pleased!

Sturdy, stylish, well designed. All components fit in perfectly. Very difficult to assembe because the pre-drilled holes did not match up. Had to drill more matching holes. Also, so poorly packed the shelves were chipped, scratched, and pieces of veneer torn off. Since most of the damage is covered up by the components, no big deal. Could not return for replacement because discontinued and out of stock.

My wife and I just moved into a new home. Our main TV was only going to viewable from the kitchen if it sat higher. We were looking for a taller, yet stable, stand and found this. It's the perfect height and built very stable. We had to assemble it but all the hardware and tools to construct where included. I'm not handy but it went together easily. The directions are very clear.

I bought this to hold my new Yamaha receiver, and my Audio Technica turntable. It is so fantastic for this purpose! I'm pretty sure it would also be great for a TV, but do keep in mind it is relatively tall, so your TV is going to be higher than on a low TV stand--make sure you measure ahead of time, including your TV stand, and ask yourself if you'll be happy with your TV that high in your room. It would be great for a smaller TV in a smaller room, but it might be a bit high for a large screen TV. (Your mileage will vary.) Pros * very heavy and solid! * sturdy * has levelling legs, so you can level it * wire harness helper on the back * very attractive Cons * takes a bit to get it put together--not really complicated, but it took over an hour (for me anyway)--getting a couple of the holes/bolts lined up was a little tricky--it is well engineered, so everything does line up very well, it can just be a bit tricky to get things lined up while you are assembling it

Bought this stand for the bedroom! It was the perfect choice. It is high enough to easily view the TV while reclining without obstruction from pets or feet! Attractive piece of furniture, easy assembly and a great price! I searched multiple sites before I found this gem! Highly recommend!

I purchased the stand for a new flat screen TV we put in our bedroom. The stand set up easily, is very sturdy, and the dark wood and smoked glass looks great.

The Whalen Tower Stand is very sturdy. I am quite impressed with how attractive the unit is and how well it complements our decor. Assembly was quite easy.

I used this tower to house my audio equipment (Receiver/Amp, CD Player and Tape Deck). Tower is well made and fit my decor well. Shelf spacing was perfect for holding all the components. Assembly would be easier with two people to help with fastener hole alignment. Extra fasteners are provided in case of loss or damage. Attachments for cable management come in handy. All in all a nice tower for the price.

This is the perfect unit I needed to put my aquarium on. It looks great great design very sturdy.

Needed a media stand for turntable and receiver. This one looked good and sturdy. It ended up pretty good once all done. It does need to be assembled and I did it on my own. That was a project. Some of the support pieces didn't fit perfectly, requiring me to loosen screws and straighten things by methodically tightening each section into place. At the end, it looks good and is very stable. Plenty of room for a turntable, a big receiver and two shelves left over

Unit is very sturdy and robust once constructed actually seeming larger than its specifications would suggest. I will be using this unit to hold a Denon AVR-X3300 AVR with AC Infinity fan unit on top, a Parasound classic series power amplifier, a Panasonic UB820 Blu-ray and Oppo DVD player plus a Fios DVR. Tthis unit has enough room for those items and I will still have top shelf open for incidentals. Now as for the shipping, this unit came in a half destroyed/ open box. Somehow I was lucky in that none of the components were damaged or missing. This was not carrier damage as one could plainly see this box had some “warehouse mileage” on it. I have had very few bad experiences with Bestbuy over the years and will still purchase from them in future, but they really dropped the ball on shipping this unit in the condition it’s packaging was in. Pros: Solid, built like a tank, spacious nice fit and finish. Cons: Assembly is a bit cumbersome with Allen screws tucked into tight corners on most assembly points, you will need a partner to assemble. Would have liked to see: low friction footing ( slides) or casters . Provided adjustable feet are adequate but unit with heavy AV equipment loaded will not be movable without serious floor scuffing. Buy yourself some 1” slides for this unit. Also unit should be double boxed.

i really like this tv stand for a small tv in the bedroom. it's sturdy and stylish.

Great size, fit my reciever, cd player, and record player with room to spare. Seems to be very sturdy. No complaints.

The Whalen Tower was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It looks elegant and certainly more expensive than it was. I am using it as an audio component stand and it serves that purpose very well. This is not my first Whalen and will probably not be my last. Great product.
