    Love my 3-way retro Linton's with sweet & open sound, gives depth to strings, using them in smaller room- sounds great too at lower volumes. Classic Rock, Jazz, & Classical are really sweet. The Linton's aren't as big as pictured which is nice. Use all Cambridge (100w) components with Panamax 5300 power -really clear. (99% sounds good, but avoid poor 70's drum recording for boxy sound). Highly rated look around- many audio lovers use these speakers with mid to higher end gear. Good depth, less analytic than others BUT VERY PLEASING about enjoying the overall recording vs just the individual instruments as many speakers of today tend toward. Might be endgame speakers for me.

    Are these the best speakers? Maybe not, but they're the best speakers for me! The best way to describe these speakers is they are "laid back", not bright, but still detailed. Great soundstage and good bass. Fantastic build quality! Arrived without any issues.

    I’ve used B&W, paradigm, and wharfedale speakers for years. I just added the wharfedale lintons to my system. While not yet burned in, these sound great, especially Rolling Stones and early classical rock. They are really clean sounding and smooth. Drums and guitar and vocals stand out.
