  • Raunchy, But Funny

    This hilarious film stars Gary Shandling as an emotionless alien from space who is sent to earth to impregnate a human female. He works in a bank in Las Vegas with a low-life played by Greg Kinnear who takes him to an AA meeting to meet vulnerable women. Shandling comes to earth by being placed on a B727 that experiences terrible turbulence as a result of his appearance. John Goodman plays an FAA inspector perfectly who is assigned to investigate the incident and becomes convinced that it was more than turbulence. Shandling has to marry Annette Bening before she will sleep with him and comes to discover the whole range of female emotions. He eventually realizes what love brings to a relationship and works to protect her and their baby from the evil Ben Kingsley (leader of his planet). It is a crazy comedy that actually makes you laugh, even though it can be quite raunchy at times.

    I miss Gary Shandling. Not the best movie ever, but it’s funny

    Akin to the comedy of Space Balls, but not as funny.
