First things first: this set is on an MOD (manufactured on demand) dvd. The discs are purple instead of the standard silver, so many people assume that they are bootlegs, which is not accurate. Moving along to the actual product, there are 10 uncensored episodes but it is devoid of special features and subtitles. $30 for a bare bones set is pretty steep, regardless of the content. While I believe the movie to be funnier, the show is wildly entertaining. Fingers crossed a better first season set is released down the line to do the show some justice.

If you loved the Munsters or the Addams Family, you will love this more grown up version of the house of freaks (vampires in this case.) Warped, witty, and quite naughty at times. "Documentary" style point of view.

Phenomenal show, amazing cast! Set in the world of movie, this hilarious show widens the lore of vampires in the modern day. Taika Waititi is just so darn talented!

One of the best shows currently on television. Wish there were special features but to own and be able to watch this anytime you want is worth it

This video box set is funny and it's good family friendly. Lots of laughs, just wonder how a family of old vampires can live in modern day.

Loved the movie, but love the show even more. Highly recommend this hilarious take on vampire roommates living in Staten Island. Colon Robinson’s different breed of Vampire is my particular favorite as we all actually know at least one of these.....If this doesn’t make sense, watch and you will find out and certainly not be disappointed by anything with the show. The first episode starts off a bit slower as it is intriguing the main characters, but the show just gets better and better with every new episode. So much so that as much as this season is pure perfection, season 2 is even better. Only complaint is FX’s lack of special features or extras on any of their recent season releases. With that said, just the 10 episodes are well worth he price!
