This time Micheal Moore is less confrontational and more informational. Nice change of pace and tone. Seems less controversial and more hopeful. I really enjoyed this movie, it was not what I was expecting and was pleasantly surprised.

I first saw this movie in the theater and was very moved and impressed by it because Moore focuses on the key issues in our country today in an honest and open way. He was able to shine a light on these problems in a non-defensive and humorous, at times, manner that makes it easier for us to look at ourselves more honestly. To those who hold opposing views of how best to improve this country, he reminds us through examples that a fundamental principle of democracy intends that no one person or group unilaterally determines how things will be done for the whole. It's a shared responsibility that involves compromise. True compromise means everyone gives up something in negotiating the solution(s). When negotiations are done in good faith on all sides, there is no winner or loser. Moore tries to illuminate areas in which we've ignored the needs of certain groups consistently not allowing them to participate equally in the decision-making process, and how that heavily contributes to the quality of life we are all experiencing today. I would recommend watching it with an open mind...what have you got to lose!

    A Different Michael Moore

Michael Moore is a pretty divisive figure, even among people who generally agree with him, because he often comes across as smug, or preachy, or whathaveyou. For those who have seen his other films, you may notice that, especially in the last few, Michael Moore had gotten rather cynical and angry. But Mike's latest documentary, Where to Invade Next, shows a much lighter, and hopeful Moore. With optimism and humor, this movie and its director/narrator paint a vivid picture of what we as Americans could do and could be, if we could just get our collective head out of our rear. Like the rest of Moore's films, this is much more likely to appeal to liberals than to conservatives, but I would say that this movie is less divisive along political lines than his usual fare.

Great movie, really puts things in perspective to what systems other countries use and how it positively effects their economy. Ultimately I was left with anger and resentment wishing that I could move to another country, lol. But I found it to be very enlightening, informative and educational while giving a great all around perspective about what we consider the american dream that other countries have successfully implemented and how for some reason we (the u.s) can't seem to deliver for some reason. I would definitely recommend this film. I personally think the best Michael Moore film in a loooong time.

"Where to Invade Next " is not only educational and hilarious,it is the best hour and a half I have spent in months.I have seen all of Michael's films. Everyone should see this documentary. In these days before the election, he has found ideas from around the world that the USA needs to incorporate. I want to see our politicians and educators adopt them. Best Buy was the only place I could find it.

This is a great view at some successful ways of doing things in other countries that are different from the US, Vacations, Education, Food, Prisons, Drugs, etc, and it is funny to see how the same ideas almost were proposed here in the US. A good incentive on how we should think different and always re-evaluate what we are doing. I recommend.

Every movie director manipulated their audience - it is a contract we sign when we agree to watch a movie. Michael Moore has a reputation as an opinionated documentary maker, but this movie was surprisingly funny and informative. Not as one sided as expected, or even anti-American, this should be seen by more than the faithful. Who knows, you might even learn something.

This movie really is an eye opening experience seeing as how so many other countries around the world make surpass the US when it comes to healthcare, education, food for our kids, & employment with benefits. Just goes to show u sometimes being in the greatest country in the world isn't the greatest thing in the world! I would definitely recommend you watch this movie!

Less theatrical than other offerings from Flint's native son, this film is more informative and grounded than some of his other works. He points the finger of blame for our problems back at us, once again, rather than looking to others to blame. Plus showing that we once HAD the answers. The solutions having been adopted by other nations. Thus, Mr. Moore redefines the meaning of invade and WHY we should "invade" the countries in which he lands

I must admit that I am a fan of Moore's work. But that being said, he simply knocked it out of the park with this one. He examines the current state of education, worker incentives, the penal system and even the food we feed to our children through school. GREAT work!!!

Michael Moore travels the world looking for Best Known Methods to bring back to the US. In France he sees school lunches radically different from what is served in The US. In Iceland he sees how the partipcation of women in business and government makes for a better country. From Finland he finds way he US prison system could be improved.

This movie is another great film by Michael Moore and does a wonderful job of showing how America can be great again. No walls on the Mexican border or hate speech needed. Just good old common sense ideas that Americans would recognize ... oops, spoiler alert!

Another laugh out load yet insightful documentary from director Michael Moore. Depending on your politics and political views will determine what you think of this film. I loved hearing about how other countries get more vacation time better medical etc. than us here in the USA. Very eye opening.

If one has not lived abroad, this is an excellent snapshot of other countries and cultures and how they value the health and well-being of their citizens. If you have lived abroad, you probably know a lot of this.

Not only is this one of Moore's best but (and I'm probably wasting my time saying this) it is unoffensive and accessible to all audiences, and children especially should watch this one.

It's hard not to get cynical in today's world, but Moore shows policies originated in the US and implemented in other countries that could lead to a brighter future. Definitely worth watching.
