Oh, when we were young, did we accomplish everything we wanted, anything? This film brings a new perspective which almost makes it seem real. Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts play a young couple in New York City. Their marriage seems secure, childless, they say they want it that way. Stiller's character has a documentary he has been working on for ten years, and I thus now 6 1/2 hours long, will it ever end. They strike up a relationship with a younger couple, played by Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried. Driver's character is also a film maker, and he and Stiller become friends. These young friends are good for the couple, they feel freer and younger, until Driver's character shows his true self

The first time I watched this I didn't like it primarily because the four main characters were all so obnoxious. However, on my second viewing, I had a completely different take on it, as I think I didn't really "get it" the first time around. I usually enjoy Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts and this movie is no exception, as the movie kind of grew on me.

Ben Stiller is good in this...which is odd. I'm so used to him being just ok and relying on comedy, but here he does some good acting. A story relatable for people of a certain age...but don't we all always want to be living the life we see others living?

I honestly thought I would like this film more especially since I am a fan of Amanda but this isn't one of the best films she has been in......that goes to "Letters to Juliet" which was a great film!

I would not say that this was the funniest movie I've seen lately, but it was okay. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't funnier. But it's still a good movie to see.

I bought this movie cause i dig Namoi Watts. I related to this movie more than i have in a long time. We all take time accepting our aging.

The movie is really good until it gets a little weird towards the end. I would definitely recommend that you rent it first.

Great cast, well written and well acted. Yet somehow, not in the least bit satisfying. I suspect it was in indie hit based on its credentials.

I did not think I would like this movie as much as I did. The movie was funny and enjoyable.

Ben Stiller reminds us that he can be a serious actor as well, great acting from the cast!

Story line was just off from what the previews were, just if only it could may been much more like hanging out with the young.

Moves slow in parts. Humor for those starting to get older. Ben Stiller is the same as he is in most of his movies

A24 does it again with another stellar film and the perfect cast! Must see!

If your not in the mood for a deep comedy, drama, wait then watch this.

Jokes aside this is a pretty solid movie. Stiller does a good job.
