    We've had over the range microwave for the 30 years we have lived in this house. The last one was a GE that only managed to last 3 years. GE should be ashamed. But we replaced it with this Whirlpool. This is huge, somehow so much bigger than any other we've had. When installed there was less than 15" clearance from the bottom to the stovetop. We returned it for a Samsung.

    I was looking for an exact replacement of the our previous one (Builder Installed version) of which the door broke. I couldn't find the exact one, but this one is the closest match. That said the installation was super simple because it matched the previous ones and all I need to do is to unscrew the old one out and then put this one back there. I just wish there was more stainless steel on the door with Fingerprint resistant. But for the price I am very happy with this purchase.

    Nice microwave and has lots of features. Exhaust fan is nice, but id doesn't vent outside, so that isn't the fault of the microwave. Fingerprint resistance is a nice feature and does work.

    I like the full glass screen with just the stainless accents. makes it easier to clean the front. Brought it down one star because the light inside is very dark. The dark glass and low light inside make it difficult to see progress of heating. Love the soften/melt butter option, we missed that with our last microwave. Also love the defrost, works much better than the last one. More even defrost of meats.

    I like this microwave because it is easy to use and doesn't have a lot of settings on it. It is very much like my last one but i hope it lasts longer. The installation was easy. It cooks well and is spacious. It was also a great price!
