Easy to use once you go on line to find the instructions since no startup manual came with unit. Quiet and looks very nice with the other stainless steal appliacnces.

I really like this Whirlpool - 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave. It has lots of room inside, cooks evenly and easy to use. i also like that it is Fingerprint Resistant.

When we bought our new house 8 years ago, it had a Whirlpool microwave. So, when it went out it was easy to reinstall the same brand and model. It works great.

It huge I love it! Easy to use and has a lot of good features. I can fit a huge casserole dish in it no problem.

We've had this now for a little over 3 weeks. So far everything has worked, easy to clean and just have to adjust the timing due to the power over our old microwave.

Delivery was on time and the installation from best buy smooth. It heats well, sleek design that flows with my other whirlpool products. The only complication was the power cord was short so we needed an extension cord. Happy with this purchase.

I needed to replace a 3.5 year old Samsung model with the same size, but I wanted to go with the Whirlpool model because of the 1.9cu ft size, sensor cooking feature (which I may never use) and good reviews. I installed it myself, but if you never did this, you should defiantly get a handyman or watch some installation videos online. The instructions aren't the best at explaining how to mount but you get a template from the box. The finish is nice, nothing super fancy but a nice clean steel finish (brushed) and I like the 3 speed fan option and night light features. Time will tell on durability, but I hope this one will last for a long time.

Easy cleaning and sensing microwave. My old microwave used to blow everything up no matter what, this one is way better!

As we primarily use our microwave for reheating food and beverage, almost any microwave will do. I will offer the following for those who may be considering this model. Ours did not come with a user manual and a web search led me to a one-size- fits-all user guide which is not specific to this particular model. Some may find it difficult to take full advantage of all the features without more detailed explanation. If you’re considering this model, I would advise a web search for the user guide; maybe you’ll have better luck than I did. I concur with some other commenters who stated that the light inside the unit is dim and the right arrow icon on the front panel could’ve and should’ve been accompanied by a START label as there seems to be ample space to do so. With regard to the Open/Close Door message that some have mentioned, I believe it could actually be a safeguard to prevent the user from starting a cook cycle without having anything inside. The way I ‘think’ it works is if you put something inside and start the cook cycle immediately, you won’t get the message but if you wait too long before starting, it ‘times out’ and you’ll need to open and close the door again. Our only experience with sensor cooking is with Popcorn which leaves about 3-4 dozen un-popped kernels. We prefer to time and listen instead. Our unit was installed with recirculating venting and as was the case with our previous microwave, the recirculating fan is ineffective for the most part. Intake suction is weak as compared to the force of exhaust. Wondering if this is just typical of a recirculating vent installation. I do find the that the finish on the inside makes for much easier clean up compared to our last unit.

Perfect for our needs. The microwave is a fine addition to our kitchen. Quality product at a reasonable price.
