Customer Ratings & Reviews

Replaced a very old whirlpool microwave. It definately lasted through the years. This new one is nice. The coating on the inside is much easier to clean. This one has a light inside which I like. It is 1000 watts instead of 1100 so I definitely notice a little difference there regarding cooking times. I miss the easy function of pressing 1 thru 5 for the quick press times. Door is finger print resistant, but is a bit louder when shutting the door. The sound of the microwave itself is quiet when running.. I haven't had this one long, but so far, it works great.

I am very pleased with the microwave I chose. It’s absolutely perfect for my family. Very nice appliance made by whirlpool. The customer service at the local Best Buy in Davenport. Iowa was top notch from the man behind the customer service counter to the man that brought our microwave out to our vehicle. Thank you.

Easy to use, simple, beautiful look. Very impressed with the design. Love this microwave. Works great, definitely recommended this.

I LOVE my new microwave! It runs quieter and has more settings.

The Whirlpool microwave is an excellent appliance that combines sleek design with powerful performance. It heats food quickly and evenly, with intuitive controls that make operation effortless. The spacious interior accommodates large dishes, while the quiet operation is a bonus. Reliable, efficient, and stylish—this microwave exceeds expectations every time.

Works great, quiet and many options. Easy to clean.

Love this microwave! Great size, works great. Easy to use. Nothing we don't like. Highly recommend!

I found this product to be absolutely amazing! From the moment I started using it, I was impressed by its quality and performance. It exceeded my expectations in every way. What stood out the most was how easy it was to use and how well it delivered on what it promised. Whether it was the design, functionality, or overall experience, everything felt thoughtfully crafted and reliable. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone considering it. It’s been a positive addition to my daily life, and I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Clean look, stainless steel fits right in with other appliances. The interior seems easy to keep clean. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Not fond of the blue led info screen, It’s a bit hard to read, especially the clock from a distance.

Easy settings and reliable performance. temp sensing valuable feature. quiet microwave. High value with sale price.

Bought this unit and feel like it is a good compromise regarding size, price and performance. However, before installing it, I read through the manual and noticed that they recommended replacing a carbon filter every 6 months. So I thought to myself, lets see if this filter change would be difficult to accomplish once the beast is mounted. So with the aid of a convenient countertop and full easy access to the filter location area, I discovered that no, it would be impossible to change the filter without removing the entire cover. It seems that when they made the sliding part to give access to the filter, they made it too large to be removed. Now it should be noted that that filter is probably not as much an issue for those venting outside of the home, but for those recirculating air through the filter, it will be a more pressing issue. We returned the unit and purchased the next more expensive unit in the line, which also happened to be a Consumer Reports best unit pick and have been very happy so far. More features, quieter operation and a functioning filter change mechanism made the more expensive unit worthwhile.

Product is easy to use. We appreciated the two sided quick step directions. Looks sleek and modern. Not too many buttons.

Easy to Clean, Easy to Install, Easy to Use, High Quality, Looks Great, Lots of Features, Nice Design, Stylish

Since moving to our current home, we have had a succession of Microwave ovens. Though they've been different brands, they've all seemed to fail after a while. This is our fourth one, and by far the best. Though reasonably priced, it has good functionality and reliability. We've had it for a while now, and it's still going strong. By far, its best feature is the interior, which somehow manages to burn off most spatters. It just never looks dirty inside, no matter how infrequently it is cleaned. The turntable dish is a good size to pop in the dishwasher. My only quibble is with a couple of exterior design choices: --In low light (like early in the morning when I don't wish to disturb others by turning on all the lights, or if I forget my reading glasses when I go to the kitchen), it's difficult to make out the characters on the control panel, which can be hard to distinguish. Would love to see the designers give more consideration to Universal Design principals and make these a bit easier for older users to read in sub-optimal conditions. --On the other hand, the Whirlpool logo seems overly large; a more understated approach to branding would be appreciated.

We had to replace our 10 year old built in microwave. After a long search, we decided on this one mainly due to price and features. Slightly bigger than our old one. Great quality, great price. Delivery was fast and was easy to install, fit in the old brackets that we have.

We replaced all the appliances in our kitchen a few months ago and the final piece was the microwave. I found this while doing an online search and stopped by my local Best Buy to check it out. We don’t do a lot of microwave cooking but this is a large microwave, standard size on the exterior however the interior is designed to utilize as much space as possible for large items, I mean a mid size turkey would fit in this bad boy. The second thing I noticed was how quit the door closed, might seem minor but that bang latch of others we’ve owned is annoying. The controls consisted of what we normally use with the multi light and fan settings and seemed like a good fit. When I got home I did my last reviews and sent this to my cart on the website. Little did I know that because I’ve been a loyal BB consumer my membership priced kicked in and we got another hundred and change off! Wow that was a pleasant surprise and better yet when I installed it it performed outstanding and is one of the most quite microwaves we’ve ever owned.

Great microwave looks wise and functionality also great size. Removed 1 star because we happened to get a lemon that blew a capacitor or something. So we'll see how the return process is..

Great microwave easy to use Nice display. Great stainless finish Matches all of are other whirlpool kitchen appliances Fairly easy to install instructions could have been better Very good price for the quality of microwave Beat buy had the best price for the whirlpool microwave Easy pick up at the Johnstown pa Best Buy Friendly staff Good looking microwave Cooks very well great fan with multiple fan speeds Nice light to light stove top burners and controls

This unit was a replacement for a 17 year old Whirlpool model that was included when our home was built. I replaced it with 45 minutes, and it is 1 cubic foot larger than the old model. It works great and we were surprised just how plug-and-play it was.

Works great, user friendly, and cleans nicely. Looks nice and matches with the other Whirlpool appliances that I have. Great product for the price.
