You can do better

I had one of these and the whole compressor system clunked out after 6 years. Expense not worth repairing. I now purchased a Whirlpool which has much better styling (thinner doors, etc.) BestBuy salespeople say most refrigeration systems in similar price range are the same. So we'll see. Back home we had a Kelvinator that was still kicking when it was taken out after 40 years, so I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because at least I got 6 years out of it. But Frigidaire/Electrolux ratings from other sources are usually pretty low.

Freezes food in fridge

I’ve had this refrigerator at 2 different apartments and wow is it really a piece of crap. Everything on the bottom shelf freezes. Spend a couple hundred more dollars for something better if you can. You’ll otherwise lose it on food you can’t eat because it went bad.

Wouldn't recommend this model

We have only had this refrigerator for a year and the freezer cools but the refrigerator doesn't. When we first got it it was the same way but started cooling. But with the warm weather the frezzer started to frost over and freeze. Now the refrigerator doesn't get cold.

Didnt last 15 months

Purchased this fridge new in December 2017 and it failed in March 2019...it did not last 15 months...freezer couldn't cool past 38 erratically went to low 20s , fridge froze vegetables and other items....local service agent advised not worth the repair costs....very poor quality, do not purchase this model or any whirlpool product, this is my second Whirlpool to fail in under two years....
