It seems the Whirlwind schematics don’t show the correct icemaker for this refrigerator. You would think that if they are going to celebrate fridge raider they would update the information to at least show the correct icemaker that goes with the refrigerator. I have had two different icemakers that I was told would work in this refrigerator and neither one did now they’re telling me there’s a third one but, I can’t get it for three weeks or more.

We had to exchange twice Because of damage on the refrigerator, But through it all Customer Service was very accommodating. So far the refrigerator is doing it’s job. And I will be Buying at Best Buy in the future.

But within months the freezer had issues. Paid extra for Best Buy warranty that covers multiple items but when I called I didn’t really get help. Ive tried defrosting, using the suggested temperature, a colder temperature also, nothings worked. Regret getting this at Best Buy.

But I wish I would never have bought a whirlpool. It makes so much noise. My 20 yr old GE didnt make this noise. Plus had damage I didnt notice til the next day.
