Really like the freezer and deep upper door shelves

This experience deserves a negative ten star rating. We bought the appliance on sale 4/12/25 and could have gotten one even cheaper if we had wanted to purchase the floor model. We opted to pay more for a new, in-the-box unit. Salesperson lied to us about delivery timeframe, stating it would only be about a week Delivery was not until 4/30. We asked about extended warranty, and he added a Best Buy + Membership instead of the requested warranty. We asked for delivery and installation. He said bcse of our distance (60 miles), our cost for delivery and installation would be $180. That price, however, did NOT include installation. It was for drop off only! Brand new ITB Whirlpool was delivered 4/30, but the compressor never worked. The temp inside the fridge and freezer never got below 74 degrees. Called customer service who told me they would send a repairman out the next week. I told her that i had not paid for a new refrigerator that had to be repaired straight out of the box. I paid $1700 for a new, working refrigerator. If Best Buy wants to repair it and sell it to someone else, that's their choice, but I do not want a $1700 repaired refrigerator; I wanted a new, operational refrigerator. She ordered the pick up of the faulty refrigerator and delivery of a new refrigerator for one week later, 5/7. On 5/7 the delivery person called to inform me of delivery time and also mentioned that the unit being sent was an "open box" unit. That is NOT what I paid for. We had intentionally avoided that when we purchased it!! Trying to have me pay full price for a basically used refrigerator and passing it off as a new, ITB unit is underhanded and deceitful. (Seems to be Best Buy's standard operating procedure!! ) When I talked with customer service, she informed me that they would have to locate another unit for me...She wasnt sure how long it would take. I explained that we had already gone without a refrigerator for an extended period of time and were not interested in having to wait ANOTHER MONTH for Best Buy to get its act together. She said that she would put in the order for picking up the faulty refrigerator and for cancellation of the order, but it would be 24 hours before she could do anything about scheduling the pick up. I pointed out that the delivery person was already scheduled to arrive TODAY. Therefore, he could pick it up today. She said that it didnt work that way, and that I would have to wait...I have already waited from April 12 until May 7!! I told her that I wasnt waiting any longer and that she had to get her faulty refrigerator out of my house today, or I would get it out on my own because I am getting a FUNCTIONING, new refrigerator from SOMEWHERE this week! She continued to tell me that it didnt work that way. I told her that if she did not get the refrigerator today, then I would be pushing it out of my house and off the deck. She promptly contacted the very nice, competent, and professional delivery person who agreed that he could pick up the faulty refrigerator today. He picked it up at the scheduled time...
We then attempted to contact the Greenville NC store where we had made the purchase. They have no direct line that allows customers to contact them directly. The number redirects the call to customer care services. We talked with several customer care agents today who seemed to be totally uninterested in trying to amicably resolve the issue...and deliver a working refrigerator within a reasonable timeframe. So, I'm awaiting the reversal of charges to my Best Buy card (which I have now destroyed)...AND I now have a new, in-the-box Whirlpool (same model) being delivered AND INSTALLED in 3 days...3 DAYS!!!! Delivery is from southern VA, approximately 80 miles away. The cost of delivery AND installation is only $29 !!!! And I already have the documents regarding our 5-year extended warranty! Thanks, Home Depot!! Best Buy could learn something about customer service and professionalism from their delivery person Scott and from Home Depot! I am still awaiting confirmation of receiving a full refund of the entire order, including the $180 delivery charges. The last question in this survey asks if l would recommend this item. I have said no because I would not recommed it from Best Buy. I won't be recommending anything from Best Buy. I love the size and design of the fridge! The refrigerator that I did receive was faulty. It happens. I understand that. What I cannot understand and choose not to ever have to endure again is Best Buy's lack of professional behavior and deceitfulness...not just once, but 3 times...as well as thier apathy, their lack of concern for correcting issues that are causing customers additional frustration...So no, I wouldn't recommend anything from Best Buy!

So far, love this refrigerator, the feature of having 2 separate freezer doors is such a welcome feature. It's a feature that we didn't know we needed but so happy that we have it. The counter deep is perfect, no more crawling into fridge to reach for things. And it's a beautiful and sleek looking fridge. Great purchase.

Fridge is perfect. Love the double french doors. Very practical and the lines and size look great in our kitchen. We had another fridge before this one with a lot of extra features that we ultimately never used and the ones that we did ended up breaking. Enjoying form over function/features this time around.

This is super good, I've never had a refrigerator with four doors, it's incredible and has a lot of space and it plays music when you don't close the door, it's spectacular.

Love our new frig! Less cubic feet, but seems roomy because it doesn’t have numerous cubbies for specific foods. Our previous frig actually had a space that was called a “snack tray”. The only thing that fit in it was several cheese sticks.
