I don’t have a water line yet for a ice maker. But this fridge allows me to get the ice maker later after I install the water line.

This was my 2nd whirlpool after my first one I had for 14 years leaked from freezer to inside of fridge. Same thing happened with this one and I only had it for two weeks. Water pooled up in back on top shelf. I exchanged the fridge for an Lg more expensive model. Five stars for customer service in store. The salesman was great and it was no problem exchanging it. I just payed the difference.

I am very disappointed with this purchase. I recieved the refrigerator 5/6/2020 and the doors were not assembled correctly so they sent me a new one. I recieved the 2nd refrigerator about a week later. Well the new one worked for maybe a week and then stopped cooling. Causing me to lose ALL of my groceries I had just bought. About $200 worth of food! Couldnt get ahold of anyone on the phone and the appliance manager at the west Saginaw location in lansing NEVER got back with me after multiple attempts of going into the store. So after 15 days they told me I could not return or exchange without using my geek squad protection or go through whirlpool. So now here i am almost 3 months and my refrigerator still does not work. I have been a loyal best buy costumer for 9 years now. I will NEVER buy another appliance from best buy!

The refrigerator stopped working 15 months after delivery. It started with the refrigerator section freezing even while at recommended setting. After I turned it off and back on, the freezer section only blows cold air but would not freeze. after 3 days both sections stopped working. My advise, do not buy brand name, buy cheap and add a 5 year plan. Quality is a game of chance these days. I tried LG with Home Depot same issue.

Our old backup fridge died. I'm glad we picked this model to replace it. Sizeable storage in fridge and freezer. Good deal too.
