The drawers are cheap plastic. No light in the freezer section. Moisture collects heavy in the unit.

Not able to get refrigerator inside the house.

Driver since he got to our house was complaining that the refrigerator would not fit thought the stairs and door, I told him that it is posible because I got the old one out for them.

I was assured a fix to a problem with door handle on wrong side Sales person made mistake , after I called to get it fixed Richard at local store never called me back. Eventually I will take care of it myself I guess . I could have accepted the sales person's misinformation but the customer service after the fact was awful.

This refrigerator, even though it is advertised as frost free, is not frost free. You will need to package everything in the freezer with food saver envelops to save your food without ice crystals covering the entire surface. It has ample space and is of sound construction otherwise.

Love the refrigerator just couldn’t get past not having a light in the freezer

Such a horrible experience!!! Refrigerator was delivered and installed by BestBuy but did not cool. It took many, many calls to the store, the bestbuy repair line, whirlpool, and the bestbuy chat to resolve. I finally ended up purchasing a second refrigerator from BestBuy, while trying to figure out how to return the original refrigerator. I ended up needing two appointments - one to return the defective refrigerator and a second to deliver the replacement refrigerator. Because of covid, supply was very limited so I ended up buying the exact same refrigerator and am hoping for the best. However, based on other negative reviews about failure to cool, I don't have a lot of confidence in this product.

Purchased at store on 1-19-25 and set up delivery for 3 days later.
Got text next day on 1-20 that refrigerator was out of stock and would not be available until 3-3-25!!!
What kind of inventory control does Best Buy have in place that sales person did not know that item was not even available??

Bought this fridge on a great sale price but problems started 4 months after purchase with loud rattling sounds randomly on and off then the fridge internally leaked water so always a puddle of water in the trays....last straw is the fridge stopped cooling and had fridge full of food spoil TWICE all within year of purchase. Im happy I bought the warranty but let's see if best buy fixes this.....

Deleverymen were helpful. I thought only getting a $100 gift card was a little low. I felt 150 to 200 was a fair value.

Beware of Loud, Annoying Compressor Noise

I purchased this model due to a good Whirlpool reputation and great reviews I saw on Best Buys. Beware. My family despises this loud buzzing noise and we can hear the compressor running from 2 rooms away. We received this refrigerator in late May and decided to give some time for us to get used to this noise. The noise continues to annoy everyone in the house. I'm contacting Best Buys and Whirlpool to get this refrigerator out of my house!
