Customers are enthusiastic about the 20.5 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator, particularly its ample interior size and generous space. The overall performance, price, and decent capacity also receive positive feedback. However, some customers have noted the noise level and the absence of a freezer light as potential drawbacks.

Nothing special about this one. I put several in home that I rent out and one did go bad after 26 months. Of course I was told that "It's out of the warranty period" Just 2 years isn't very long to get out of a refrigerator.

I have had nothing buy issues with this model. At first the water stopped working. That was repaired. Now we have had ongoing issues with the ice maker. It haven't been fixed yet.

Was pretty happy with this purchase UNTIL it started giving out on us after 3 1/2 years of use. Cost $280 to fix a fan when we noticed it was not cooling well. Less than a month later noticed it happening AGAIN. This time the board alone would cost $299. Called Whirlpool and was notified that it only had a year of warranty with them. Decided to just buy another fridge- but NOT Whirlpool. Hopefully this new GE one will last longer, considering we take care of our appliances and don’t damage them. Was it a lemon? I think, probably yes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
