The overall performance, price, and decent capacity also receive positive feedback. However, some customers have noted the noise level and the absence of a freezer light as potential drawbacks.

Bought this Refrigerator for myself and loved it. Has plenty of room. When my moms Refrigerator broke I went straight to Best Buy and bought one in black for her. She loves it.

It is nothing fancy, but my last Whirlpool refrigerator lasted more than 25 years, so I hope this one does as well. I did not like spending an extra $100. for the color (beige). I do like the clear glass shelves that make seeing what is hiding in the back much easier. The Whirlpool logo 'badge' was missing from the delivery, and I did ask for one when I responded to your first e-mail, but have yet to hear back from you...

No bells and no whistles, just a decent unit with top freezer and no space wasting ice/water stuff on the door.

Works well so far. Would have given five stars if it had a light in the freezer section.

Don't buy if you want to reverse the doors.

This was quite awful. We requested for the doors to be reversed. After doors were reversed, there were areas where the seal of the doors didn't seal fully against the fridge/freezer and the cold air was leaking out. Thus this led to condensation and water and the potential of mold. We had the fridge replaced and the second fridge did the same thing due to us wanting the doors reversed.
Unfortunately we had to come to the acceptance and conclusion that reversing the doors is not a good idea even though the manufacturer says it can be done. Due to manufacturer factory construction the seal is the way it is, and sets after it's been installed at factory. It's unfortunate that a new seal couldn't be included for fridges that need door reversing.
Ultimately we returned the fridge due to it leaking cold air because the seal wasn't tight enough around the doors. The worst thing is that bestbuy couldn't find the receipt that we paid for new water lines (we paid separately when the delivery people came), and thus couldn't refund us. Luckily we paid for it with our credit card and gave bestbuy the water lines back when we returned the fridge and asked our credit card to reverse the charges on the water line.

Lacks what I thought to be standard features

This is a littler better than average refrigerator. I was surprised to find what I thought were standard features not included, such as no light bulb in freezer and that the shelf in freezer is not adjustable.
Other than that, for the price, it was worth the purchase.
