Doors are uneven and the front where the grills usually are is terrible looking! (Cheap looking)

The bottom dose not look good.you can see the wires sticking out.not good.

I hate this cheap all plastic ice box, no adjustable shelves. Everything on the inside is made of cheap plastic. Who makes a refrigerator without adjustable shelves?? It’s a nightmare to me. I’m so unhappy.

Drawers and side shelves are made of cheap plastic. Cracked with in 7 months of purchase

So, the fridge itself is gorgeous. The noise? Not. Wr actually had it for one day and scheduled a return. After having to wait for the 3rd party pickup and trying in vain to find any other fridge that would fit in our ludicrously small rented condo kitchen space, my husband decided to take the fridge out and look for ANYthing that would explain the sound of a lawnmower coming from the fridge. Understand me when I write lawnmower - I’m not exaggerating. In fact, that may be putting it mildly. After two hours until 1:30 in the morning and his cutting himself on the back of the fridge, low and behold, a ridiculous black rubber piece was taped underneath and behind the fan. Why? No reason. At all. It was almost as if whoever had a hand in building this part of the unit thought it’d be funny to tape something to the inside that would be too dark to initially see but cause a repetitive sound that makes you want to punch a wall. I have uploaded a picture of it. You can see where it was being rubbed up against. I called and was told the sound was “normal”. Of course it wasn’t. The laziness of the customer service agent? That was the only normal thing about this. Now the fridge purrs like a kitten and I canceled the return. Thank God my husband decided to think outside the box. Even the man who delivered our fridge after plugging it in and heard the noise said “These fridges make noise”. As if I’m an utter idiot and have never been around a fridge in any of my homes, let alone anyone else’s. In the end know this, if you’re experiencing a God awful sound from your fridge the company will not help you. Listen to your gut and dig around the fan. Also, loosen the cardboard cover on the back. The light whistling sound will stop then too. In some cases, you'll need to adjust one of the legs if it’s not level. Best of luck to you all.

If you are considering this, you have to be aware that it is an entry level product. It is a decent refrigerator for the price but it does not have premium features. I got it because of the size constraints in our kitchen. Some of the less positive things - It is somewhat louder than our old one but it is not too loud. The best way to describe it is different. You can hear more of a whirring sound of the compressor vs the old one which had more fan noise. The shelves are not adjustable. The door swings wildly open all the way vs the old one which had a soft stop at the partially open point. The buttons on the door to control the temperature seem convenient but accidentally got pushed and the things in the fridge started freezing. The ice maker is included but is a newer design compared to the one that Whirlpool has had for about 30 years. It makes cube shaped ice vs the crescent shape but is agonizingly slow. We use a lot of ice and now have to supplement with store bought ice. The old unit was able to produce enough to meet our demand. Also, it has what seems to be an old design instruction label on it referencing the arm switch which no longer exists. It also has what is most likely an energy saving feature connected to the door switch. When either door opens, it cycles off so as to not pour cold air out. The problem is, it shuts off as soon as the door is opened and turns back on when shut. If you are going in and out to get a few things, it's going on/off/on/off/on/off. It's a good idea in theory, but I think the extra cycling will cause premature wear. I think it would be better if it had a timer to allow a few seconds open before shutting off.

Good looking Fridge. Fingerprint resistant feature is a plus, shows no prints so far. Good lighting inside the fridge and freezer. All controls are on the front door, for temps and ice cube choices. I just bought this item and only had it for about two weeks.

This Refrigerator runs fine mechanically has all the features you'd want but somethings are not ideal. The door shelves are super tiny in the Freezer side ice cubes get trapped in the mechanism, and drop out of the trap door after you walk away from the fridge and they fall out on to the floor. The Refrigerator side gets too cold sometimes and will freeze veggies if they are not in the drawers. Aside from that for the size it's a solid product that need refining.

I am still getting use to this refrigerator. The inside of the fridge is ok, except the shelves are not adjustable and the top shelf is very low you cannot fit a gallon of milk. There is no built-in section for eggs in the door. The freezer is very small; it only has three small shelves and one drawer. The ice maker takes up most of the space on the inside. I had to buy a drip pad to put underneath where the ice and water come out because it would spill directly on the fridge. I have to make sure to close the doors because it will stay open; the Kenmore I had previous to this one would close by itself. We bought this fridge for the space that we have but our Kenmore was in the same space with more fridge and freezer space. This new refrigerator is a nice-looking stainless-steel fingerprint resistant but there are more cons for me than pros.

It's noisy, but seems to work well. Not much actual useful area in the freezer.

Great purchase, it works great as well. Fridge side is spacious enough however the freezer side is more tight than I expected. The design is cleand and sleek. I wish there were more colors and sizes on this model but overall a good appliance.

I wanted the absolute best side-by-side fridge and I didn't care what the price tag was. My predicament: Width space could not exceed 34 inches. This basically eliminated 80% of all side-by-side models on the market. After doing a lot of research I purchased this model on the Best Buy website. The two men that delivered it arrived on time and were in a rush to leave and do the next delivery. I guess Best Buy puts a lot of pressure on these employees by scheduling more deliveries than they can comfortably handle. I chose stainless steel and it looks beautiful. It's a perfect size for a household of 4 people maximum. Just like my old Whirlpool in order to maximize space I removed one shelf in the freezer and one shelf in the refrigerator. With this setup it's easy to place and remove large tall items in the fridge and freezer. Therefore, do not believe reviewers who state it's "too small" because it's not or that you can't adjust the shelves because you can. And unless you sleep in the kitchen it's not "too loud". It's just as loud as any other side-by-side fridge. Both the ice and water dispenser operate as designed. Some of the complaints about the dispenser are laughable. Unless you have a visual and/or physical impairment in which your hands tremble uncontrollably you won't inadvertently press the water versus ice lever. And both water and ice go directly into it's intended path when using small and large glasses with very little if any water drips. Despite all the whiners complaining that the doors can't be leveled and the two wheels can't be adjusted up and down guess what...they can. The two wheels on the front are adjustable. All you have to do is follow the simple instructions on how to level the doors or move the bottom two wheels up or down. Upon delivery, the door handles on mine were misaligned by only 1mm. I simply pulled off the bottom front plastic cover and with a wrench raised the door 1mm. The delivery crew is required to make sure it's perfectly level against the floor but they will not adjust misaligned door handles for you. I asked and they refused. If you already have an existing water line paying the extra fee for the delivery crew to connect it is a complete waste of money. Any man or women can easily connect it using the required (once again required) stainless steel water line kit sold by Best Buy for only $29.99. After connecting the water line very little ice will be made during the first two days. On and after the third day is when you will notice ice being made at normal levels. If the exterior LED dispenser lights are important to you do not purchase this unit. Per the instruction manual "the dispenser lights are LED's that cannot be changed". Make sure to check for dents upon delivery! Refuse delivery if any dent is present. Signing the delivery form indicates that the unit is cosmetically perfect. Delivery personnel don't care if you accept or miss a dented unit. They just want to get out and move on to the next delivery on their list. My last Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator operated flawlessly for over 15 years and is still running strong to some stranger that bought it on Craigslist. If this new side-by-side model lasts just as long Whirlpool will have another loyal customer for life. Both Home Depot and Lowes offered this refrigerator for the same price but Best Buy was #1 when it came to having it delivered the fastest. It took them only 2 days which was the main reason I chose Best Buy.

This is a great side-by-side for a smaller space. The temperature control is outstanding and cold! The icemaker is a bit noisy - noisier than my old one in a two door but it is very regular, operates efficiently, and produces nice size cubes. The reason for the noisier operation is explained as a side-effect of energy saving features, and not bothersome after first week. The freezer side is extremely small - so with a family it would be a difficult freezer to use. For a single person it's fine. The refrigerator side is roomy, good spacing of shelves (although you cannot move them), and only one door shelf for 2 liter bottles. Still, from an operating and basic operation, this one is great. It looks nice from the outside and people are complimentary of it. The only reason I marked down ease of use is due to the fact the delivery and set up people (Best Buy) did not explain it or leave an owner's manual and some things (like the lock on the temp control) is not intuitive.

So far, this is s very nice upgrade from our 25 year old top freezer fridge. The fridge is quiet enough and the appliance looks nice. The fridge compartment is large enough for 3 people. On the negative side, the shelves are not movable in either side. The ice sometimes gets stick in the dispenser so it can leak. And the freezer is very narrow but it is still one of the better options for a 34 inch opening. I would recommend

Here are some of the cons I've experienced and what I've read other people have had problems with. I'll add solutions to these issues where applicable at the bottom... - The overall size of the unit is too small - The freezer is really small and carelessly designed - Can't adjust shelves in the fridge - The water dispenser drips water - The unit sometimes can pull towards you when opening the doors because of the wheels - The door handles are uneven So the overall size of this refrigerator is in fact smaller than a normal full size unit. This is the exact reason I purchased this particular model. It was the only side-by-side with a water/ice dispenser that would fit my space. It is absolutely perfect in this regard for what I needed. I suggest checking the provided dimensions and measuring your space to see if it's the right fit for you before knocking it. The freezer really is small and the ice maker/dispenser takes up nearly a third of the available space. Can't deny this is less than ideal, but it's the trade off for the front dispenser. The shelves in the door are almost hilariously small. Now, to make the best use of the available shelf space I would suggest purchasing plastic or metal wire storage bins. If you look on the really popular website where we all buy everything nowadays you'll find plenty of options. This way you can load up the baskets and dig through them without everything falling out of the freezer onto the floor. It's a pretty handy solution and after doing so the freezer really can hold quite a lot. You really can't adjust the shelves in the fridge and at first I thought it would be a problem. Turns out for my purposes it isn't though. I can use the adjustable door compartments to store taller items. I too had the problem with the water dispenser dripping onto the floor. At first I thought the unit was defective, but then I spent about 3 minutes reading the instruction manual and as suggested ran water through the dispenser for a few minutes to make sure all air in the water line had been purged. After that it did not drip again. The unit pulls towards you when opening the door. This is because there aren't leveling feet but rather adjustable wheels. You can adjust the wheels so the front of the unit sits higher and then it doesn't roll quite as easily. The better solution is to get two small blocks of wood and put them under the metal frame at the front of the unit to keep it from moving at all. The doors/handles are uneven. Again, this is discussed in the instruction manual and is a super easy fix. Open the fridge door and read the label at the bottom. You just need to get a 5/16 wrench and adjust a bolt in the lower hinge to raise or lower the door to match the other one. Overall, this isn't a great fridge. If I had a normal kitchen I wouldn't have selected this one at all. However, most of the problems are easily solved. Just read the instructions (I know it's hard to do sometimes) and you can resolved these issues on your own in a matter of minutes.

I'M GENERALLY HAPPY WITH THIS FRIDGE. THIS IS MY FIRST SIDE BY SIDE SO IT TOOK A WHILE TO ADJUST TO THE FREEZER SPACE. NEED TO BE CREATIVE TO FIT THINGS IN BUT IT CAN BE DONE. AS OTHERS HAVE COMMENTED IT'S A BIT NOISY AND RUNS A LOT BUT SOME OF IT IS DUE TO THE ICE MAKER. IT IS VERY COOL LOOKING AND EASY TO WIPE OFF FINGERPRINTS. AFTER A MONTH, I'M HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE .

Overall I'm satisfied with the new refrigerator. The one downside is the size of the freezer compartment. It's unable to fit frozen pizzas horizontally. But it did fit in my small space. Overall does the job well.
