I bought this fridge because I really had no other option due to height restrictions; and while I don't hate it, there is little to love about it either. The freezer is very small, but I guess I shouldn't complain about that; I knew I was buying a fairly compact fridge, which is going to have its limitations. But, I will complain about: Either the fridge-freezer temps occasionally change on their own or else they are very easy to alter unintentionally. I have to keep a very close eye on the temps. The ice and water dispensers are stacked front and back rather than side by side. This brings the water dispenser spout so far forward that if it drips, the drip runs down the front of the fridge. It doesn't drip often, but it does happen, so I have to keep a folded dish cloth in the bottom of the dispenser, protruding a little over the front edge in order to catch the drips. Also, a light comes on when you're using the water dispenser, but it is behind the cup or glass you're filling, This is fine if the vessel is clear, but if it isn't, the light is useless. The ice maker pushes ALL the ice in the tray forward when it is dispensed, so after a few uses the back half of the tray will be nearly empty, while the front is literally overflowing. requiring the use of a big cooking spoon to level the ice back out. The ice also frequently gets caught in the trap door of the dispenser, letting warm air into the freezer and causing the trapped cubes to melt and drip until they're dissolved - another use for the aforementioned dish cloth. The fridge door opens too far. This is a problem because if you adjust the unit so that the doors close well, it causes the fridge door to slam open, really rattling everything in the door. If I back off on the adjustment, the doors tend not to close all the time, which is obviously an even bigger problem. Overall, I guess it's an adequate if flawed unit. But it's not one I would go out of my way to recommend.

I needed a smaller refrigerator to fit properly, most models these days are too tall and/or wide for the 'cove' in my kitchen. this model fit perfectly, height and width. the fridge is not 'small', just smaller dimensions than most current designs. I love the crushed ice maker...super crushed!! and like that it has a built in filter for the water and ice. only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 just because the freezer is a little more compact than I would like and the top shelf in the fridge barely accommodates a bottle of juice (tight fit!) but the doors are also designed for large or gallon size bottles. one more thing I think should be mentioned, when filtering the online search for size/dimension criteria, (it was purchased in store but shopped online first) this model did appear to meet the criteria as a 'counter depth' model, it was displayed when 'counter depth' criteria was chosen, but it is not counter depth-it's 30 inches, (that's deeper than counter depth), the dimensions described in the specs on the item's web page are correct. also a shout out to the Geek Squad... I purchased it in store (Chico, CA) the team member that helped me was great and the customer service was awesome, price matched, and let me know about price matching for approx. one month after purchasing which it did go on sale about 3 weeks later, so it was price matched again for another $85 off! the delivery team went above and beyond with delivery as well!! thanks Best Buy!

I don’t write reviews for winning money as it’s just a lure! Because the last whirlpool fridge lived with us almost thirty years, we purchased the same model from the same company. Purchased August, 2023 and delivered in September 2023 with the freezer door defect. BestBuy let us exchanged. The exchange one came on October 6, 2023. Two weeks later, it sounds like a lawnmower when it re-cool the fridge and it sounds like a jet-fighter engine when the ice maker starts, every time they do, many times everyday. Today, we found the white stuff came out from the paint of the edges of the storages’ trays.

We love this Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator! The refrigerator actually has more space than our old refrigerator that measured slightly larger on the outside. You can remove the shelves to make more space for taller pop bottles, which we did remove one shelf. There is also a lot of space on the door itself. The freezer is somewhat smaller than our old one, though, because the shelves on the door are very tiny, but otherwise it is perfect. We love the handles and everything about it. I did not expect to be excited about a new refrigerator/freezer, but it is really nice! It also seems to save energy as you can hear it turn off when you open the door and back on again when you close it. We bought this particular one due to our limited space, and it fits perfectly. Seems to be very well made and sturdy. Highly recommend!

Old house,small space. More room than i thought. I just wish refrigerator companies would put more thoought into the watet/ice dispenser. Make it a little taller for taller glasses. The water is great right on the edge. Ice, have to tilt the glass alot.

After a few weeks using this Whirlpool refrigerator, I'm comfortable writing a positive review. The stainless steel surface does not show fingerprints and looks great. The main side is more than ample in size and well able to accommodate large items. The freezer side is a little cramped. If you fill the freezer side, it's not easy to see the rear portions of the lower shelves. The door pockets are so small they will test your imagination as to what might fit. The ice maker is great and the door delivery system works well. The refrigerator is not overly noisy, but you will hear it. I do wish it would have come with an owner's manual instead of just a minimal quick start guide. The delivery, hook-up and haul away service was timely and professional.

This was the only side-by-side fridge on the market that fits in our awkwardly small apartment kitchen. While it's small for a side-by-side, it's much larger than our previous top-freezer model. We love having the built in water filtration, water/ice dispenser. Fridge is quiet, cold, and the fingerprint-resistant stainless finish is great. The glass shelving and bright LED lighting is a nice touch. Only complaints, not really a big deal: 1) we need to periodically turn off the ice maker before the bin gets too full, otherwise the ice begins to get stuck together and the dispenser gets jammed up. 2) when dispensing water, you need to hold your glass/bottle under the outlet for a couple seconds, otherwise water will drip down the front of the fridge, leaving water spots that are difficult to clean up. I'm guessing the tray would normally be designed to catch drips, but they seemingly moved the water dispenser forward to allow filling of large water bottles.

Refrigerator was a perfect fit. When buying appliances for a condo, everything has to be measured. If you don't measure it correctly, things get expensive quick. This thing cools and the fingerprint resistance is so nice. I don't enjoy cleaning stainless and trying to get rid of fingerprints, so this saves time and effort.

iIf you are in need of a smaller fridge that doesn't break the piggy bank, like a couple of the major brands do, then then then this could be the one for. A tad small in the freezer area due to large amount of space taken up by a poorly designed ice maker along with the interior shelf racks not being adjustable, another study in poor design. Other than that so far it has performed flawlessly and the ice and water dispensing features work better that some reviews have indicated. Not perfect but good overall when in need of a smaller fridge.........

This replaced my 15 year old refrigerator and one of the few that fit into my 33" max opening. I like the water and ice dispenser and it does seem to avoid most fingerprints. There is a lot of door storage, actually more than I need but the top half of the shelves are adjustable. One complaint I have is that the regular refrigerator shelves are not adjustable, in fact I can not fit a half gallon milk jug on any of the shelves not even the top shelf. No place for tall bottles other than the door. Freezer, limited storage - especially for wider items such as a frozen pizza.

Our GE Fridge said "goodbye after 12 years, and we needed a new Refrigerator real quick. Ge's delivery was out 3 weeks, while we were able to purchase the Whirlpool one immediately and have it installed 4 days later. The Associate at Best Buy by the name of " Daniele was very accommodating, and helped us a great deal to make the decision. After several weeks of using this refrigerator, we are extremely pleased. It works well and has great space to place our food items. I believe we made the right decision. Since we are part of the Vintage Generation, we also purchased the 5-year guarantee. There are many benefits to doing this. We highly recommend purchasing this product.

Great space in the refrigerator side but small freezer space but still love the unit so far. The stainless steel look is my favorite.

I decided to upgrade from a Frigidaire. I love the style & the size fit perfectly for my space from me it is not loud it is definitely much quieter than my previous refrigerator the only downfall is I wish I could adjust the shelves other than that I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it.

This is a shorter frig, we needed it to fit into a shorter space. But it has everything that a taller one does and I can reach it better, for I am shorter and a senior. I really like the lighting on the water dispenser and it has the option of cubed or crushed ice. The ice maker is fairly quiet. It looks very modern, clean and the glass shelves are easy to wipe up. I do recommend the item and am glad I bought it. Installation was very professional too.

This refrigerator is a decent size and has water and ice in the door, which was a must have for me. Due to the narrowness of the space and access it was just the right size.

If you're limited to 33"...this Fridge is it. Looks great, the print resistant stainless steel has a nice horizontal grain that practically matches our GE Profile appliances. Read the reviews about the noise...it's just background noise in a few days. The freezer is a little narrower than our old one, making the refrigerator a little wider. No biggie...real cooks always have a 2nd freezer! The Geeks were awesome; friendly, knowledgeable, in and out in about an hour

Great fridge for the price, especially with the credit on the credit card balance and gift card. Some say it's loud, but it's not any louder than my old fridge that was not efficient, and it is crispy cold! My only complaint, and something I didn't even think to look at is that the main shelves are not adjustable. However, the ones in the fridge door are, and have room enough for me, my few 2-liters, wine bottles, and the occasional gallon of milk. Overall, I'm very, very happy with my purchase. Need to get the ice/water hooked up still, but I suspect it will be just fine. One other note: My brother and I had to take the doors off to get it in the house. It was pretty easy overall. If you will need to do this, just watch a video of it online, and plan to thread the waterline and wires out of the lower hinge on the freezer.

Works as it should. The temperature isn't perfectly even on the fridge side, the top shelf by the fan is consistently colder (water will freeze there) but otherwise it's fine. The water dispenser is irritating in that the catch tray doesn't do a very good job of actually catching water. Overall though, it's a perfectly acceptable fridge/freezer.

Very good and spacious refrigerator. It has all the specs with a good cabinet depth. Not super huge and still very spacious. The only down side I have it the temperature is on the outside and kids are able to tamper with it on accident
