The appliance was delivered to me damaged and the ice maker was put together incorrectly. I've already had to have it repaired and I purchased it on September 7th. I have no faith in Best Buy.

I did end up ordering an extra shelf for the refrigerator side to have a place for platters, etc. Plenty of room and the door holds gallon sized containers. This replaced a similar level Whirlpool that was 12 years old and had much less flexible space, esp on the freezer side. The icemaker in the door helps a lot too. On the old frig, I could multitask by rummaging through the frig while getting water in the door. Can't do that on this model...the door ajar alarm sounds and the water automatically shuts of if you open the other door. The frig is pretty quiet too especially compared to the old one.

Although it tossed ice cubes on the floor after disengaging the mechanism and the ice-making process is rather noisy, it worked great for about a month. I started noticing ice and frost building up in the freezer all around the ice bin and on the inside top of the freezer. Called GeekSquad and he ordered the ice dispenser assembly to replace it. In the meantime, I've noticed that my fridge is quite cold and, although I've adjusted the number to 2, my food is starting to freeze up. Got a call today and GS can't get the part until March 2014. Gee, I wonder why?? I've been told to go pick up a new fridge. Same model if they have it. Unfortunately, I have a small space for a fridge so it limits my selection. Such an inconvenience but I'll see how the second one performs. Just wanted to warn others before purchasing this fridge!
