It's amazing how much more some folks are willing to pay for stainless steel appliances when the enameled ones are not only "stainless" but do not show fingerprints or grease marks! This white one was a replacement for a 15 year old Whirlpool whose electronics died. There was only one model less expensive than this one, but was just under the "free delivery and haul away the old one" price. Since I needed delivery, this one came in for a net price that was the same. I installed the unit myself. It was easy as the fittings were the same as the old Whirlpool. I bought the install kit, but in the end returned it as it was unnecessary. This unit is amazingly quiet, and, unlike many of the prestige brands, still includes a heating element for fast drying. Panel settings allow you to use it or not. Also, panel is on the front of the door, a plus as the ones on the top lip of the drawer are sometimes harder to operate and more prone to dirt and water buildup. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit. It leaves dishes sparkling clean without cleaning your wallet in the process!

Easy to load, cleans well on top & bottom racks, & is quieter than previous dishwasher. Really large pizza pans & cookie sheets don't fit because of middle arm in 3 level cleaning. Still a good tradeoff.

For the low price we paid, I must say that this item more than exceeds my expectations. We can barely tell it is running by noise; in fact I have found myself checking to make sure that it is. No rewashing of dishes has been needed either. Overall, one of the best purchases I have made.

Well I read the reviews before I purchased and some people spoke of noises, I have to double check to make sure it is on I hear no noises and it is the BEST dishwasher I've ever owned. The only flaw is it does take around 2 hours for cycle to run or longer depending on what cycle you choose.

I wanted to try this dishwasher and found that is a very good product. The only thing that I did not like is that is does not have a latch to open the door. You just pull it open and that seems like it might not work well down the road. Thank you

The dishwasher looks great and has a lot of space inside. The silverware compartment is on the door to give you more space on the bottom shelf. We haven't had any problems with it yet and it cleans everything as expected.

I just love my new dishwasher. It is so quiet i can set it off at night and sleep right through knowing my dishes are spotless in the morning.

Roomy bottom shelf because of the silverware rack being on the door. However, sometimes some of the silverware doesn't get as clean as it should.

The dishwasher is great! Easy to use and cleans very well.

This is not as loud as some dishwashers, but I can still hear it disown the hall. Fits most dishes/pots & pans, though I had trouble with a couple of my larger cookie sheets. Not a big deal, just a heads up.

But can't seem to dry no matter what setting it's on. Looks great, great functions and easy to use.

This dishwasher replaced a previous 19-year-old Whirlpool dishwasher that worked well without ever having a problem. I didn't realize until I got this new Whirlpool that my old one would have been considered noisy, but this new one is so quiet that the first time I ran it, I didn't think it was working. I love how quiet it is! I've had it for two months now, and it's cleaned everything well with only one exception. I put in a glass loaf pan with caked-on meatloaf and it had a few little pieces stuck to it at the end, but that could be because I just used the normal cycle instead of heavy cycle. Frankly, I put that pan in as a test and it came out cleaner than I expected. I only have one minor little complaint - when the dishwasher is open and the bottom rack is out, the door springs up a little and if the rack doesn't have enough dishes in it to weigh it down, it rolls back into the dishwasher. There's a spring that can be set on the side before the dishwasher is installed which I had my husband set to it's lowest setting, but it still springs up a little. But that wouldn't be a deal-breaker for this well-performing dishwasher. Overall, I'm very happy with this dishwasher.

Maybe I need to call Whirlpool. Maybe this isn't normal for this dishwasher but I have ran it threw about 8 loads since I bought it and it has a very loud whistling noise. It goes right threw the wall and it is not pleasant at all. Not a machine I can turn on and go to bed. The noise it makes is that bad. All the other reviews claim this dishwasher is quiet. Not in my case.
