Cleans everything efficiently without much noise. It takes a long time for the cleaning cycle to run so that the inner stainless steel doesn't have water spots. The only thing is that once you enter your preferences, you only have few seconds to close the door COMPLETELY. If you missed that time window, it doesn't run, and you have to open it, re-enter all the preference, and then close the door completely. The exterior stainless cover is beautiful and easy to maintain

Our old whirlpool unit was a workhorse and I thought it was super quiet, but we decided to replace it after we noticed that it developed a leak (which ruined our hardwood flooring) and at first hesitated to get another whirlpool, but decided to give it another try purely because of how good the old unit performed, compared to a brand new top of the line Samsung we bought for our bar in the basement. This unit is just as quiet as the Samsung unit we own and noticeably quieter than our old unit (similar model but front controls). Wife was against the third rack for the fear of losing the extra room in top rack but in a few washes we did so far, we noticed It’s very handy for silverware and lids and the top rack can be lowered if needed, but that takes away the room from lower rack. We did not buy this for its wireless capabilities and don’t think that should be a deciding factor at all. We got this because we got it for a great price during open box sale ($400) and it was practically new. Connecting to WiFi was slow but worked the first time and haven’t had any issues with connection since, but the app uses the SSID your phone is connected to by default and there is no way around it. I used diff WiFi SSIDs for IoT and regular, so had to switch my phone to IoT network before setting up WiFi on this unit. The app shows some basic info but strangely the remote control only seems to work when the unit is running. Maybe it’s a setting somewhere that in need to explore but didn’t care to. I added it to Google Home but didn’t quite see how it’s useful. Overall, we really like the function and looks of the unit and are hoping it lasts a long time and hopefully without any leaks. At the price we got or even at 50% more than that, I would recommend this dishwasher.

This dishwasher does a great job at cleaning dishes and I love the 3rd rack. However I find it lacks a few features that I would expect on a dishwasher in this price point such as a quick rinse not a quick wash cycle. I would also love for it to have a half load wash but it doesn’t.

I've had this dishwasher for a year now. It washes dishes great, with no residue left on them. I love being able to start the machine through the app and getting notifications when the cycle is finished. The best part about the machine, other than how well it cleans, is how super quiet it is. My kitchen is next to my family room and i can wash dishes without having to turn the TV up at all.

If you are standing right in front of this dishwasher you have to look at the controls to see if it is running or not. It is so quiet you cannot hear it. It cleans better than any dishwasher I have ever had and I like the silverware basket on the door so there is more room for dishes

Purchased this dishwasher for my elderly father as his old one decided to die after 20 years. Spent a bit more than I wanted but overall I am satisfied with the purchase. First, the awesome. This appliance when set to "quiet mode" is whisper quiet in every cycle it operates. The interior stainless looks amazing. The "AnyWare" silverware basket in the door really saves space, if you even use it, instead of the third shelf. And the third shelf is quick and easy to remove if you need more room on the 2nd shelf after lifting it to get all the high pots on the first shelf. The way you can reconfigure the interior space is smart. The app is modern and smartly designed with status reminders for little things cleaning the filters. It provides granular notifications so you know when your cycles are done. Allows you to set your cycles and create favorites. Get used to the app because you are going to need it as not all "specialty cycles" are available to select on the appliance. Now the annoying issues. A) Heat drying, even using the "extended" heat dry setting doesn't get everything completely dry, and condensation sets back on the dishes unless you crack open the door within 30 minutes of the load completing. B) I should not have to drag out my app to select special cycles such as "plastic items", "fine china" and "canning". This dishwasher is for my elderly dad who doesn't like apps or SmartPhones. C) Also, if you open the door during a cycle to add something, you HAVE to press the continue button and close the door in 4 seconds. The machine should be smart enough to know if I open the door and close it during a cycle it should just continue. A better solution would have been to have a "pause" button for those who wanted to pause which is the less likely case. Where it missed the mark completely. Four issues here which really need to be fixed, all of which are software so I'm holding out hope my pleas to Whirlpool will be answered and I get an update. Big Issues: 1) Specialty cycles like Rinse & hold HAS to be done using the APP. This should be a choice on the front panel. 2) Not all special combinations are available will all cycles. Why can't I have a Hi Temp Wash or the Sani-Rinse on the 1-hour cycle? 3) The Remote Control feature DISABLES itself after the dishwasher completes a load. And is only available when the dishwasher is running. This makes remotely STARTING the dishwasher impossible. 4) Alexa integration needs a lot of work. As per item #2, you can't just have Alexa remotely download your favorite cycle and start because remote starting doesn't seem possible. There is no "hook" into your Smart Home ecosystem. This makes it hard to do things like tell Alexa to start your dishwasher tonight after you go to bed. Or to trigger an action after the dishwasher is done, like have Alexa assign "empty the dishwasher" to your kid's todo lists. Or have a counter which tracks the number of washes completed and automatically orders new detergent packs when you are down to your last 4. Seriously? I would have expected Jeff Bezos' crew to be all over that opportunity.

I love this dishwasher so much I love the detachable utensil rack. It cleans so well and I love them now I can control it with my phone. Only issue is that you still have to press remote on the dishwasher to control the app Otherwise I love the convenience of the foldable and adjustable racks!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this dishwasher. Let me be up front and say I had a 20yo dishwasher so anythjng I will love. This machine is super quiet and has a ton of settings and even a app. I love the 3rd rack as well.

Why it take 3 hours plus to wash a load is beyond me. Top rack is nice but you sacrifice the ability to wash tall items because of the wash arms.

We love this new dishwasher. The top rail is so easy to adjust and the dishes come out very clean. You can barely hear it running.

Installation was awesome. They came when they said they would and were done in less than half and hour. Does everything as described. Runs quiet and cleans very well

This dishwasher works great and is super quiet! Easy to install and love the Alexa integration. The WiFi took a couple of tries to get working but works great!

For operation, would give it 5 stars. Very quiet and cleans very well. Only negative comment I would make, is the drying of dishes. My 15 year dish washer, did a far better job. Dishes was always dry and the washer?? For as much money you pay for this dish washer, you would think it could dry them better.

Love this dishwasher gets everything sparkling clean very quiet and the black stainless looks amazing with my other plants is of the kitchen.

Some reviews of this unit say it runs too long and leaves water all over the dishes. That isn't true in our house. You can tell it to run in under an hour or let it run its full cycle for cleaning of 3.5 hours. I don't know about your house but around here ours get turned on at bed time and so 3.5 hours of running isn't a big deal. The manual says it runs a lot longer than your old unit but uses less electricity so if you want a quick wash just hit the under an hour button and it will text you went it done by the way...

I recently replaced my range and microwave with Whirlpool smart oven and microwave. So I paid a little extra to get this Wirlpool smart dishwasher. I a little disappointed with my new Smart Appliances. But especially with the smart dishwasher. You have to press the remote control button on the dishwasher every time you want to be able to remote control dishwasher. As soon as the cycle completes, it turns off the remote control feature. Worthless. As far as dishwasher washer features. Love 3 top rack, adjustable top rack. Very Quiet. Cycle are long. Read reviews where people complain of dishes not drying. They are dry enough for me. The dishwasher has a heating element, but we don't use it.

Dishwasher is so quiet that you can barely hear it. Interior racks are adjustable and well designed. Controls are all internal, so cycle, etc. must be programmed before the door is closed.

Great addition to our new appliances. It cleans perfectly and I love that it tells me when it’s done on my phone.

We like how it looks both inside and out. Very modern and clean. The inside, all stainless steel, looks even cooler than the outside.
