Correct dishwasher delivered but with wrong rack and utensil basket. BB sent 2 dishwashers instead. Finally, after 10 days of wrong deliveries & our frustration, Douglas from Geek Squad brought correct tray & basket

I am very pleased with this dishwasher, it also looks great with it stainless steel tub and finish.
I noticed some comments that it takes too much time to wash and dry.
I have had no issues.
Most of the time I just run the quick wash cycle at night, which takes just an hour, and I just let it self dry until the morning.
I've also run numerous normal cycles, which wash and dry, and take 3 hours, and the dishes have been spotless and dry.

Overall, I am pleased with the dishwasher. We have learned how to load it properly and it does its job extremely well with a nice quiet performance. I didn’t give it a full five stars because the wash cycles are long. 3.5 hours with the extended dry for a normal wash. The extended dry is necessary for otherwise there is water left on the dishes.

the dishwasher has a lot of room , it takes a little getting use to loading it in a different way you are accustom to. because the spoons holder sits in the bottom rack it reduces rack space for dishes or large items. not sure about the need for the 3rd rack and its usefulness. bottom rack is much lower than the older model and door too heavy to open, so requires extra step for loading. Also while loading the middle rack got some scrapes on my hands with the rough finish of the top rack bottom. the dishwasher runs for more than 3 hours but it is very quiet. that is probably the best feature. control planner slightly difficult to access.

The third rack is a welcome feature that allows great space utilization. The silverware rack makes it easy to organize the items. We were relieved to see the heating element, as some similarly priced models from other brands do not include this feature. Operation is extremely quiet, which is important to us as we live in a small condo. We are pleased with the selection of cycles and design of front panel.

Review after First Use

Purchased to replace my prior Bosch model 500 that had the recirculation pump fail after 4 years and was going to be an expensive fix.
Installation. Installed myself. All of the hookups are near the front underside so had to be double check to ensure lines and conduit would not be restricted movement-wise. Required more time vs the Bosch where all of the hookups were in the back.
Appearance. Really like the appearance with the stainless and handle (vs pocket). The stainless appears to be durable and is hard to smudge as advertised. The control panel top works well and is responsive - durability will be a longer term question perhaps.
Washing. We used the quick cycle with heat which is 1.35 minutes. It cleaned well - note we pre-rinse dishes to remove larger food stains before loading.
Sound: This unit was listed at 47 db. Our Bosch was 44 but in the initial run, outside of some 'different' sounds between the two, the Whirlpool is as quiet.
Overall. Highly recommend but with any Dishwasher, durability and longevity are all TBD. I'd say if you're looking to save some money vs a Bosch or other brand this is a good option.

Purchased in 2021. This is a great dishwasher. Easy to install, high quality construction and racks with lots of space and it is so quiet that I can barely hear it when the house is dead silent. The dishes come out clean as expected with very little to no water spots (perhaps the spots is the detergent). No leaks or any issues at all. I highly recommend this model. I was also impressed that it has a special bottom tray that can detect leaks and shut off the water to the unit. Just a great product!

I wanted a new dishwasher as my previous unit was over 15 years old. I decided to stick with Whirlpool to match all my other kitchen appliances. I selected this model as it had multiple interesting newer features such as a 3rd tray shelf, and adjustable 2nd shelf and others. It was also rated as 1 of the quietest models available. Although the standard wash cycle takes almost 3 hours to complete, the unit is very quiet and the top controls are great. I love the various light symbols and the timer countdown. The unit was on sale and had free delivery. Overall I am very pleased.

Third rack comeback

I really like this dishwasher. The third rack saves space on the first rack so I can finally wash cookie sheets clean, and on the second rack I can fit all the pots that wouldn’t fit the last one. It’s awesome.

The dishwasher itself is very impressive. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a dishwasher that makes everything sparkle like this one does. I do use the heavy duty and sanitize settings. I also use cascade pods, even though the tech advised against using them. It is VERY quiet. And the third shelf comes in handy for spatulas, etc. I will admit I sometimes forget to empty that rack! One downside is that it takes a VERY long time to run (just under 5 hours) compared to the two I am used to.
I had to give it four stars, even though the product is deserving of 10/5 because I will never purchase an appliance from Best Buy ever again. It was an absolute nightmare to get installed. Week 1: installer was running behind and I needed to leave so we had to push back to the following week. Week 2: Installer arrived. Did not realize we had granite countertops and needed a different installation kit, which needs to be ordered. I don’t know a lot about installing appliances but I feel like granite is not uncommon and the question should have been asked when we purchased. Week 3: Rearranged scheduled yet again only to receive and email (no call or text) that installation was moved to following week. Week 4: Finally installed.
After many hours on the phone with customer service call center managers (and in store with store manager) my husband continued to receive the same response. “We don’t control delivery; another vendor handles that.” Bottom line: Best Buy will have zero second thoughts about taking your money. They will not hold themselves accountable for the follow through; just point fingers at the vendor (that they hired and pay).

Quiet dishwasher, love the quicky cycle that you can add drying time too making the shorter cycle 1.5 hours. i don't love that the normal cycle takes 3 hours!! I always opt for quick wash. I love the 3rd rack for utensils used for cooking and it is spacier than my last Bosch. It fits plates and bowls well and even has option to raise or lower 2nd rack for tall items. Overall good dishwasher. The look is great but the feel is a little cheap.

We had this model installed about a month ago and it works very well overall -- it cleans nicely, is very quiet, looks like it has good build quality, and looks great in our kitchen! The stainless on the door really is fingerprint resistant and so far it has been easy to keep clean, unlike our old dead KitchenAid, which showed marks and fingerprints we had real trouble cleaning. The negatives are all picky, but important. The top rack is of marginal use and I'm sorry we opted to get it, it just takes up a little space that would have allowed slightly better clearance for the real dishes. The main two racks just don't seem to hold our dishes as well as our old KitchenAid and we really miss the plasticware clips that held very light plastic items in place. In retrospect, I would spend the extra 200 dollars or so to get another KitchenAid (also made by the Whirlpool company) to get the better racks. But those concerns are preferences, not necessities, and this dishwasher does a great job washing dishes, just not quite as efficiently packed as the old one. I'm happy enough with our new D/W and hope we have it cleaning our dishes for a long time to come!

I’ve been using this dishwasher for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m impressed with its performance. The cleaning power is excellent—dishes come out spotless, and it runs quietly. The drying feature works, but it's not perfect; while it does a decent job, some items, especially plastic, still need a quick towel dry. It’s not a deal-breaker, but worth noting if you're expecting flawless drying. For the price, though, it’s a great option!

I ordered 2 of these Whirlpool dishwashers for my office to replace 2 that 'had seen their better days". The quality (the steel interior is an added plus at this price point) is outstanding and very quiet to boot. Staff have given me a '2 thumbs up' rating for having selected this brand and model.

Amazing dishwasher! Quiet, love the available cycles to choose from and it tells you how long it will take for each wash. Third row rack is great! Heavy duty, quality feel.
