Don't expect all the fancy bells and whistles that high end dishwashers provide, but this unit is great for the price you pay. Looks clean, it's fairly quiet (came from a 20+ yr old dishwasher so that was loud), easy to use, and most importantly, CLEANS YOUR DISHES VERY WELL!!!....and that's all I have to say about that.....

I needed to buy a replacement dishwasher and this Whirlpool model was exactly what I needed for a rental property. More importantly the unit height and width was a perfect fit for the existing dishwasher space (which seemed slightly smaller than other models). The unit had an updated look but for a great price!!

Replaced a Whirlpool with another Whirlpool. Got this one on sale when it dropped under $300 and my old one kicked the bucket. Feels like there is less space on this model, so plan on running it at least once daily for a family of four. LOVE that they moved the silverware rack on this model - the old one sat in front of the soap door and would occasionally block it from opening. Couldn't bring myself to spending any more on a dishwasher that MAY last five years like my previous one did. So far so good.

This dishwasher is great for the money. My husband and I got it on clearance to replace our ancient one. The dishes always come out clean without having to pre-rinse. And the delay option is wonderful since I am forever forgetting to turn the dishwasher on before we go to bed. Also, it runs very quietly.

Have had the dishwasher for about 3 weeks and happy with the product now that it is in, but had some unnecessary issues during installation. There is an adapter elbow that you need for the water line, but it doesn't come with the dishwasher. And there is no electrical plug with it to plug into the wall outlet. This would have been fine , had I known before the old unit was taken away, as I could have taken the plug off my old unit. Both of these issues wouldn't have been a problem with a little more information at the time of the sale, or during the delivery. Also, the sheet metal brackets that attach the dishwasher to the bottom of the counter where cheap and snapped in half during install. I had to make two more out of sheet metal I had lying around. Fortunately, I had the tools and know how to overcome these problems, but not everyone does. All in all though, I am happy with the unit so far.

This machine may take quite a while, but it really gets the job done. I barely have to clean off the dishes beforehand, and with other (cheaper) dishwashers I've owned, I really had to be sure there was hardly anything on them. Now it takes so much less time, and I don't procrastinate as much.

Last dishwasher was probably 15 plus years old , this dishwasher looks better and runs quieter BUT it doesnt dry dishes well AT ALL. The ancient washer we had dried twice as good and it was an antique.

We particularly like the roominess which allows sports drinks bottles to be placed in the top section. The removable flatware carrier has several different sizes for items from the scrub brush to canning rims and lids.

Good unit. Looks good and washes great! It does NOT dry dishes at all. The problem... it does not have a large enough port to exhaust the moisture from the unit to allow the dishes to dry. If you can catch it when it finishes washing, open the door for 10 seconds and then let it go through the air or heated dry cycle, you will have dry dishes.

This was a relatively inexpensive dishwasher that replaced one that had seen really heavy use over 15+ years. It performed well, even though our children were gone and the daily usage was much less than the previous machine. Did a decent job with moderate loads.

Deceptively exceedingly roomy; exceptionally quiet; does a remarkable job; uses very little electricity; simple yet ample choices; easy to use; resilient; an absolutely joy. And I'm VERY fussy and hard to please!!!

Great dishwasher for the money. Works well, easy to install and not too loud.

We have been given the run around no help what so ever to get the defective dishwasher out and replaced. It had a hole in the drum and leaked under the flooring to the sub floor. We were told by the installer and repair that it was defective. The installer even said there was a bracket missing. But it is still in our kitchen .

Just wanted one to wash the dishes. It does. Not fancy. Not super quiet but I knew it wouldn't be.

It is very unfortunate that the re-designing into "energy efficient models" does not go in pair with the functionality. What is the point of energy saving, if the item does not function anymore as it supposed to? Not all dishes come completly clean and it is not as dry as my old "energy eating" dishwasher. At least the old one was doing great job, the new model saves the energy by doing poor job. Whirpool needs to settle somewhere in the middle.

We replaced a 15 year old Kenmore with this Whirlpool. The old Kenmore was still working but looking pretty rough. We love the Whirlpool. The biggest difference is the sound. With the old Kenmore, we could only run it when we were away or all the way in the back bedroom because it was so loud. With the Whirlpool, we can sit right next to the kitchen in the living room and watch a movie and barely even notice that it is on. It seems to clean dishes just fine and the simple push button controls are nice, especially the one that notifies you that the dishes are "clean." The only obvious thing that could be better is the silverware tray. It is relatively small and not very deep. It has not been a problem for us so far, but we do miss the Kenmore's larger basket which was also easier to load.

I like the color and how well it washes the dishes.

Very disappointed in this dishwasher. If you completely wash your dishes (and not just pre-wash) they will come out clean. It absolutely does NOT dry the dishes. I rarely write reviews, but I am so unhappy with this dishwasher I felt I needed to share my experience.

This is the best dishwasher my wife and I have ever purchased...I highly recommend this to anyone...easy installation...quiet..gets even the dirtiest dishes clean...highly recommend adding dish dryer as well...has a strainer in bottom to clean out...

This is a very good dishwasher. We needed to replace a old dishwasher in our home and this one fit the bill. It is very quiet and cleans all the dishes, pots,Etc very well. The only drawback is the silverware container it could have been made an inch or so higher. You need to be carefull when you put the silverware in. otherwise it will fall out.
