It's a nice solid refrigerator, has a lot of space. The ice maker is unusually loud though, that's the only drawback

Good for the price. Only a few things that I would change Feels like an additional shelf is needed in fridge and the water dispenser shoots water all over.

Solid purchase for the money, my ony complaints are that the shelf spacing in the fridge is somehow less than my old unit even though this fridge is bigger ... also there were some complaints about the ice maker spraying all over the place and sadly this is true. However for the price that you pay for this fridge, I think that most folks can overlook these shortcommings.

I was very happy to find that magnets stick to it ! It keeps food cold and frozen items frozen. It is quiet running, and easy to operate.

I shopped online for a year reading many reviews and not happy with what I was reading. I can say I am very surprised and happy with this purchase. I purchased this unit for a vacation home and wasn't sure how the ice maker would hold up since the ice maker was a problem area with most fridges I searched. this ice maker kept up with 15 people over a week's time in a vacation home. Very surprised there was always ice, and it didn't shoot ice all over the floor. there are 2 cons: one is the bottom drawer doesn't slide easily, but if you are careful, and push slowly, it works. the shelves and drawers could have been a little bit more sturdy, but price would go up. The other con is that the unit had a hard time recovering from a lot of food put into unit at one time and all the open door time from so many people using the fridge. under normal use, I'm sure it can maintain temp around 37-39 degrees with no problems. Lighting inside both fridge and freezer are very good. had plenty of shelf space and gallon jugs of milk fit easily on door shelves. very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this unit to a friend.

Have owned now or 8 months - works perfect. Does not look cheap and although it has limited bells and whistle it does have all the functions you need. I'd give it 5 stars if only it came with one more shelf. It has a very decent amount of space - but one more shelf in the refrigerator would allow me to really use it effectively. I bought four stackable metal wire baskets (meant for the pantry) and used them as stackable storage in the freezer. This has allowed me to really get organized with frozen foods.

nice size, nice temperature, good features. terrible noise in the ice maker fan.

So far we haven't had any problems but have only had this refrigerator 5 weeks. The ice dispenser seems to be working very hard to get the cubes out. When we look in the ice bin, we can see that the ice is in large strips not individual cubes therefore the auger is working hard to break them up in order to dispense cubes. Hope this won't turn into a problem in the future.

THE FRIDGE IS SPACIOUS MODERN, AND COOLED VERY QUICKLY WHEN PLUGGED IN, VERY MODERN AND SLEEK, LOVEIT AND THE PRICE WAS AWESOME!

Beginning to enjoy my new refrig and its new features. Like the flexibility in creating my sizes of shelves and door holders. Love water and ice features in the door. Still getting used to the delay in the light coming on but like the lighting feature after fully illuminated.

I read the reviews and did my research before buying. I went to many stores to test French Door, Bottom-Freezer, Top-Freezer, Side-by-Side Refrigerators. I am very pleased with Whirlpool - 25.4 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Monochromatic Stainless Steel selection for the money.

I was looking for a refrigerator that would be in my ownership for at least a couple of years, since I am not in my permanent house. The goal would be to retain as much value and sell it after that time. I have only owned it a few weeks, with relatively little use. The product seems to be very well rounded, with clean and efficient lighting on he inside, the availability for oceans water on the outside of the door, and easily accessibly drawers and shelving for easy cleaning. The ice maker is speedy and is not loud as of yet. The overall noise level of the refrigerator is of decibel that I apparently do not notice it through daily living. I would recommend this product to someone who is looking for a good middle of the road refrigerator. With the price of this item, it made it easy for me to buy the warranty and provide myself with some good assurance for any unforeseen troubles in the future.

I purchased this fridge to replace an "old school" white fridge that came with the house I purchased. I've had it for 2.5 months and I have yet to clean the outside due to fingerprints...and it isn't even a no fingerprint fridge. The size is great and I like that the cabinet of the fridge is gray instead of black like most of the others that I looked at were. I definitely would recommend this fridge. It is quality made and Whirlpool reliable.

Product is great for its price(make sure you price match). The BestBuy customer service is horrible. Just hope the delivery goes well (It didn't for me) so you don't have to deal with being on hold, getting the runaround, being transferred at least a dozen times, hung up on, being lied to, and trying to understand heavy foreign accents. Receiving a damaged part and getting it replaced is a hassle and unpleasant

My mother is mostly happy with this refrigerator but is unhappy with the water dispenser because it splatters outside the glass and all over the dispenser area. Also she claims the water is not cool at all like her last refrigerator. Everything else is great.
