I remodeled my kitchen and purchased this unit and had it for a year without issues. I then sold my house, built a new home and in December 2016 again purchased this unit (because I liked it so much). Within a few months I began having issues with the upper ice maker (this model has 2 ice makers - one in the lower drawer and one in the upper). This included the motor stopped working (wouldn't dispense ice), significant water dripping from the in-the-door ice/water dispenser, and the ice in the upper ice maker being wet and sticking together. The service tech for Whirlpool said they are aware of the wet ice issue. After 4th service call and it still wasn't fixed, Whirlpool wanted to schedule a 5th service appointment. I demanded a replacement and they agreed. Unfortunately I have been waiting months on the replacement because it had to be back-ordered and when a replacement was delivered, it arrived dented. Another replacement is scheduled for delivery on 8/24/17.
