Love this refrigerator! Lots of room! Very quiet and the lighting is great.

I remodeled my kitchen and purchased this unit and had it for a year without issues. I then sold my house, built a new home and in December 2016 again purchased this unit (because I liked it so much). Within a few months I began having issues with the upper ice maker (this model has 2 ice makers - one in the lower drawer and one in the upper). This included the motor stopped working (wouldn't dispense ice), significant water dripping from the in-the-door ice/water dispenser, and the ice in the upper ice maker being wet and sticking together. The service tech for Whirlpool said they are aware of the wet ice issue. After 4th service call and it still wasn't fixed, Whirlpool wanted to schedule a 5th service appointment. I demanded a replacement and they agreed. Unfortunately I have been waiting months on the replacement because it had to be back-ordered and when a replacement was delivered, it arrived dented. Another replacement is scheduled for delivery on 8/24/17.

Check the depth before purchase. It's sticks out from a standard counter at least 9 inches! Beautiful fridge! So many compartments!

One big flaw. Inside drawers have grip to open drawer on bottom of drawer! Different than ANY other fridge I've used. Very awkward.

Water dispenser area leaking water drops even after service agent come and replaced parts .. problem remain same. Only thing I did to stop stopped ice maker permanently.. the problem is when we turn on. Ice maker on...not sure how this has been failed in quality testing..

Do not waste your money. This fridge stopped cooling our food reliably after about 6 months. We lost hundreds of dollars in food, because multiple repair appointments over multiple months did not fix the issue. It just turns off at random, then all of our food spoils yet again. Right now, we are living out of coolers, because we don't have a working refrigerator. Whirlpool refuses to replace until we have more service calls and says the warranty does not cover the cost of all of that lost food. We will never buy from Whirlpool again, and you shouldn't, either.
