Had the fridge delivered to our house. After the movers took off the tape, we found rust marks on the fridge door above the ice dispenser. Best Buy was very helpful and exchanged the fridge. We have had the second fridge for about a month now, and the left door (with the ice dispenser) is already broken. The entire door is leaned down which causes it to not shut properly. We have been going through Whirlpool's customer service to have it fixed (it is still within warranty), but it has been a very difficult process. Overall, very dissatisfied with the product. I would not recommend to anyone.

We purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago and have had nothing but issues. This refrigerator has a design defect; it uses a narrow air riser up the back of the machine. The air gets trapped in the middle drawer, resulting in a ton of ice building up. We have had service people out, they initially blamed it on the main control board, which they replaced. I've tried 'thawing' the unit out 3 separate times, for a week. It doesn't matter what you do, this unit will frost up, and not hold temperature. My wife and I are going to buy a new refrigerator to replace this, and it will not be a Whirlpool.

Great fridge. Found it as an open box, can't beat the price we paid! Loaded with features. Best Buy delivery was efficient and helpful with install. After 6 months the unit is running well. Enjoy all the fridge and freezer compartments. It's so easy to place and find things. Only two small complaints; the ice maker, it has a tendency to crush ice even when on the standard ice dispense setting. And the freezer drawers, if you're not careful and don't close them fully (which is easy to do) they will frost over or melt. Apparently the door alarm (on my model) doesn't work for the freezer, only the main doors. But these are small quibbles, still give 5 stars.

The third unit was delivered with three indents in freezer door. We still waiting replacement more the 4 weeks. When the delivery team took out m out refrig they dented my steel door and scratched paint. It was a very expensive door and haven't heard how it will be repaired

Came with factory defects computer and lights don't work

I bought a floor sample that had some dents. I did not know it was a return. I called the geek squad because of the 7 problems I found after it was installed. He said it would take Two Thousand dollars to fix this refrigerator. Needless we did not keep it!

They got to exchange my whirlpool frigid but having a new problem again has water coming out from filter and no water coming out from dispenser

Our ancient fridge left to us by the previous owners finally died so I went in search of a brand new one for our family of five. I have three boys who never stop eating, so I was looking for something with ample space. I found it! SO much space. Love the bright lighting inside as well and all of the various configuration options for the shelves. The middle door/drawer is perfect for cut up fruit and veggies or juice boxes. However, my most favorite part of this refrigerator is something I didn't even know it had until the delivery guys brought it into my house.... Ya'll, there is a FROZEN PIZZA COMPARTMENT in the freezer door.... so you can stand up the pizza boxes and they don't take up the entire freezer. I did a happy dance when I saw this. There is even a cute little picture of a piece of pizza on it denoting its purpose. So far so good with this fridge. The other reviews were good, especially compared to other brands and models. Some complained of the ice maker being noisy and I guess it is, a little... but not any noisier than any other ice maker we've ever had! Two thumbs up!
