this unit has so much space for the price! the stainless is easier to clean than other ss products i've had. as other reviewers have said, it is VERY loud! buzzing and whirring all day long. the freezer does grate when you open it, and you have to pull out the upper drawer. there is condensation around the ice maker, which sometimes drips, or other times freezes. I can live with these issues, tho the noise is driving my hubby crazy. don't know if i'd buy it again. the space almost makes up for the other issues!

I bought the Whirlpool Gold and was hoping I'd made the right choice. Yes, I made the right choice and so glad I did. My friends love this fridge and wanted to know where I got it and how much. I bought it at my favorite store and the price was right. I was going to buy a freezer but with this fridge I have plenty of room to keep my fast moving stuff and room to spare in freezer to keep plenty of slow moving items. The tall water dispenser is the best. This is the best purchase I've made when it comes to kitchen appliances. However, I got the stove with microwave and with this combination I'm really happy.

Went with this product because it matched the other appliances in a new home. The product looks nice, has huge doors, and lots of storage space. Looks great in the kitchen. BUT....it's a noisy piece of machinery! Various fans, water pumps, etc. turn on constantly, and there is no doubt that they're on! Also...the big issue is with the water/ice dispenser. It leaks constantly and pools on the tray. When you open the door...SPLASH!...all over the floor and down the front of the fridge. Unacceptable. Tech is scheduled to come look at it, but research reveals that this is an ongoing problem that Whirlpool has yet to address.

We are really pleased with this refrigerator. Has an incredible amount of space in the refrigerator section as compared to then freezer section. Freezer is a little smaller but sufficient for us. Measure water is great. Fill a cup with ice then set the measured volume of water and push then button. Fills the cup precisely. Nice feature. Stainless exterior looks great. Wipe it down with a ss wipe and it lasts for weeks.

This is a great fridge. My wife and I bought it to go in our new home and we could not be happier. The easy to use buttons on the water/ice dispenser makes it so my children can easily get drinks on their own. The ice maker is tucked in the door to create space, and space is one thing this fridge has a lot of. Everything fits in it with room to spare. The drawer in the freezer is easy to keep organized and accessible.

I love my Whirlpool Refridgerator. It's very spacious - different departments for fruit/vegetable/meats. It works very well including ice maker. Haven't had any problems. Yes I will recommend this to someone.

I exchanged a side by side by this refrigerator and absolutely love it. I didn't think I would like the freezer on the bottom but it has so much room and is easier to get to the food than a side by side. The only thing I would change about this refrigerator is the meat and cheese drawer. I would make them separate so that you wouldn't have to open both doors in order to get to it. I like how you can get to the crispers by just opening either the left or right door.

This refrigerator has exceeded all my expectations thus far. Operation is straightforward, the space inside is excellent. The shelves have a lot of flexibility to change the layout. We also are really liking the freezer on the bottom. It is proving to be very accessible and much more spacious than we had imagined.

About 4 years ago, we replaced our smaller side by side with a bigger one. There were still no room for a lot of groceries. We found this one Open-box and it was a great deal. We had to buy it. I was amazed at the room the freezer had and the room in the top is very spacious. It is of good quality, which is something to expect from Whirlpool. I love my new fridge. I will not own another side by side fridge. The French Door has spoiled me.

I have had it for a little over a week and can find no complaints. Maybe that doesn't sound like mutch, but it really is. The water and ice maker work great fitting larger containers and the storage space is plentiful and usefil.

After reading some negative reviews about the ice maker leaking/dripping, I paid very close attention to the instructions regarding running water through it to get all the air out of the water & ice maker supply lines. I followed the instructions to the "t" and am having issues with the ice maker building up ice around the seal. It isn't a major problem now, more of an inconvenience. If it turns into a major issue, I will update the review. On the positive side, it is a very attractive fridge and I am glad we went with this model and not the counter-depth to give us more space. The shelving lay-out is great and very easily customizable for what you would want/need. Unlike other reviewers, I haven't had an issue with ice flying everywhere, but I guess that's because I know to keep my cup close to the point where ice comes out (common sense much?). If it wasn't for the ice maker issue this would get a resounding 5 stars, but I'm going to see what happens with this issue and if Best Buy and/or Whirlpool will need to get involved.

I like this refrigerator. It has lots of storage space

I look at a LOT of different fridges but the things that made me pick this one have also made me fall in love with it. It has the most interior space with the way the ice maker is installed. It also has the best features you won't find any place else. It has rapid ice mode, where it produces double the amount of ice for a time period (party) and it has a measured pour mode that I use to always pour my water. It's an awesome hands free way to get water. You won't find that on any other brand.

Bought this for our new house. Delivered, installed, and setup by BestBuy's contract shipper. Very professional, no problems here but your miles may vary. The fridge is great! Very nice layout and capacity for my family. The compressor noise is not as bad as some make it. In our large open kitchen, it's noticeable if you listen to it or when dead silent at night. Ice and water is good, although I would give the water double the recommended initial run through to get rid of the plastic/filter taste. So far so good at 1 month. We will see how long it will hold up.

The size is amazing. I can fit more groceries that I ever thought inside this fridge. The ice maker is quiet and the water is clean and cold.

the styling is very nice, and the compartments control the food temps very well. I love the extra lighting inside which is much better placed than any of the other brands models I looked at in the store. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is a great Refrigerator. It is so roomy and easy to access all the areas in the top section. The Freezer is large and keeps everything frozen perfectly. The temperature settings are factory set and no need to guess what to put them at. We especially like the sliding shelf drawer for cheese and cold cuts. It keeps them at the perfect temperature. Our soft drinks and beer are also chilled to a pleasing temperature. We love it so for. Only had it about a month but glad we bought this size and model.

Absolutely love this fridge! Do much room love the adjustable shelve and the bottom freezer. So happy we bought this one !
