Be careful to ensure all measurements are verified before ordering. Overall width, height aand actual opening of course are important, but also be sure your cabinet can handle the dimensions of the strips themselves. Those measurements are only shown in the installation instructions and are different from other trim kits.

the trim kit for the microwave fit perfectly and looks great

This trim kit is good to make the microwave fit as a built in. We had to play with the installation to make sure the microwave door open as it should be. But it’s a good fit. Nice

This would have been a 5 Star review but I was a little disappointed that the surround piece was plastic. It looks great but I was surprised with the material.

This trim kit was used for Whirlpool - 1.6 Cu. Ft. Full-Size Microwave - Stainless steel. Originally bought trim kit Whirlpool - Microwave Trim Kit for Most 30" Microwaves - Black-on-Stainless-Steel but it didn't fit. It's a standard trim kit and works great without issues.

It perfectly fit the kitchen cabinet and microwave. The only issue(?) i have is that it is made of some kind of plastic, while my old one was stainless steel.

The trim kit is an excellent b as ic item. Howrver it is not stainless steel as indicated in writeup. But it is nice and functional.

Trim kit fits nice on my whirlpool microwave. It doesn't show fingerprints and is easy to clean. Only drawback it's a bit pricey.
